"Casey, get down here, we're leaving in five minutes!" My mom yells at me

"Im coming" I yell back, quickly stuffing my school books in my bag.

I stop quickly to check my phone to see if I've had any texts off Alex,my best friend.

I've got None,which is strange,because Alex is always on her phone.

"Casey! If you don't get down here now then-"

"Mom!I'm coming ok?!" I shout, and run out my room and down the stairs into my kitchen.

My mom is standing at the fridge drinking her coffee as Henry my little brother is watching spongebob and eating his cereal.

"Well?" She asks me "have you got your bag?"

"Yea mom,I'm not stupid". I roll my eyes and grab an apple from the fruit bowl.

"Don't talk to me like that" my mom says, "are you sure you've got everything?".

I mine a gun pointing at my head and she sighs.

"Fine ok,let's go" my mom grabs her work bag.

"Come on Henry!" My mom switches off the telly and Henry stamps his feet.

"Momm!i was watching that!"

"It's a school day! I've already told you guys no going on electronic devices before school!" Mom nags as I roll my eyes.

Incase you haven't noticed, I roll my eyes a lot.

I zone out as mom carries on her rant,only stopping when she notices the time.

"Bloody hell! We're late again! Get in the car!" we run into the car and she drives us speedily to school.

My school is just a block away from Henry's school so mom drops me off first.

Just as my moms about too pull into the school's drop-off place, a shiny sports car swerves out in front of us, nearly crashing into us.

My Mom slams on the brakes just in time,and we slam to a stop.

"Stupid jerk!" Mom yells, as I see a mop of blonde hair, blue eyes and a wide grin pop his head out of the sports car, looking back at us. He laughs and speeds on to the school car park.

"Who was that P-R-I-C-K..?" Mom spells it out because he hates sweating in front of Henry.

"I don't know, but he's one stupid asshole for sure" I mutter.

Mom drives me too the curb and grins.

"Have a good day!" She says as she leans In To kiss me, but I dodge away.

"You too" I say in monotone, and leap out the car and slam my door shut before she can say anything else.

As my mom screeches away from the curb, I take a deep breath in.

School.

One of the most hated,feared and terrifying places on earth.

Yeah, in case you haven't guessed I'm not a big fan of school. People like me don't get on well in school.
