Chapter 3

As soon as I got home I went straight into the kitchen and made myself a massive sandwich.

I didn't have any lunch because Alex basically forced me too carry on hanging around with Cameron so she could flirt with him.

I was majorly pissed off, mainly because Alex was breaking the one rule we had with each other.

Cameron was flirting back with her, but I knew it wasn't anything serious because I saw him ask that slut Ariana for her number after school.

I grab my sandwich and run upstairs, avoiding my mom who is out in the garden.

I go into Henry's room where he is playing with his Lego.

"Hey" I take a bite of my sandwich, "did you have a good day at school?"

"Yep" Henry doesn't look up at me, but continues setting up his Lego.

I wait. "Anything else?!" I say eventually.

"Nope" he pushes my leg. "go out now, I'm having a massive battle with my mini figures".

Well thanks, so much for brotherly love. "Fine,whatever" I walk into my room and grab my laptop.

Looks like it's tumblr for the evening,then.

After around an hour of the internet and Netflix I hear some loud bangs from outside.

It's already dark outside so I'm a bit worried.

I go over to my window which faces the street. I look diagonally across the road, where I see the house that has been empty for ages with lights in the windows.

Huh? The house has been empty for nearly seven years, why is someone in it?

Suddenly I see a two cars In the driveway and notices some boxes.

New neighbours!

Stretching my head further out the window, I see some boys messing around just outside the house, kicking around The boxes.

Suddenly my skin goes cold, when I realise that one of them is Cameron.

Shit.

Suddenly the door opens and a middle aged woman calls out to them "Cameron!lads, the pizzas ready. Come inside".

As she closes the door, the boys laugh and turn around to the light of the street lamp so Ivan see their faces.

Great. Ryan Crawford, Isaac Jones and Miles Harrison plus Cameron are there.

Isaac, Ryan and Miles are the three most popular boys in my year.

Miles is the emo one, with really dark hair and a lip piercing, Ryan is the jock who is the schools star quarterback and Isaac is the cute surfer boy with his blonde wavy hair and tanned body.

Seriously? Cameron's only just got here and is already friends with the schools most popular people.

It's odd, because he told me, Martin and Alex that he had no friends.

It was obviously just a ploy so that he could sit next too us, but still, he can't want too annoy me that much.

Maybe he...wanted too sit next too us?

I roll my eyes and step away from the window, pulling the curtains closed tightly.

Get a grip Casey! I scold myself as I jump into bed and pull the covers over me. As if he would ever want to sit next to you!

I sigh as I realise that Cameron now lives opposite me, and so that means that there's going to be a lot of house parties and popular gang 'hangouts'.
