Hey guys, heres another update for ya:))
Enjoy xo
Cameron's POV
I'm in the boys toilets in school. I'm just sitting here, in the cubicle, and I hate myself for it.
I can't stop thinking about her, Casey.
It's so stupid, what I said before. "Don't pretend I'm nothing special to you."
It's too misleading, she thought I was being fucking serious.
I didn't know what to say, what to do, when she didn't say anything-I just stayed quiet, looking at her.
Come on, I don't know what to do in those situations! I mean, I'm Cameron Jones, player and heartbreaker. I've never had someone be so embarrassed about liking me.
Woah Cameron, she never admitted to liking you, dickhead.
I sigh, that's the one think I hate about myself. The fact that I just assume all the girls want to hook up with me, and that all the guys want to hang out with me is just so egotistical.
I loathe it, but I've turned into someone whom everyone loves, and it has changed me.
"OI, Cameron, are you coming out anytime soon?" Ryan yells from outside the small cubicle.
Shit, I forgot he and Miles were waiting for me.
"Yeah, I'm coming now, don't get your panties in a twist". I yell back, earning a few chuckles from the boys.
I pull the chain so the toilet flushes and step out. Ryan is leaning against the wall watching some little eighth graders who are messing around with the taps, and Miles is moodily typing away on his phone.
"Took your bloody time" Ryan says "come on, let's go. Lunch period is nearly over and I want to talk to Belle".
I smile at him, but so that he can't see it. Belle is Ryan's...well, they swear it's just a hook-up, but everyone can see that they have feelings for each other.
I'm happy for Ryan, when the lads told me what trouble he was in before he got with Belle...you could say she's basically saved him and his football career.
We walk across the school yard which is littered with benches where people sit and gossip.
As we walk, I can feel many pairs of eyes turn our way and start to talk. Usually, this would make me smirk, but today I just duck my head in irritation.
Why does everyone always have to stare? It's not as if were aliens.
We reach the far corner of the yard, where the popular group always hang out. Usually we hang there, just sitting down talking and flirting.
Ryan goes straight over to Belle, so me and miles stand with each other.
I roll my eyes at Ryan who is talking animatedly to Belle.
"Why the fuck doesn't he just ask her out?" I say to Miles, who smirks.
"He's too proud" he chuckles, tossing his hair. "You know he would never ask a girl-it has to be the chick that asks him".
I laugh. "Typical Ryan. Cocky and-" my voice suddenly trails off when I see Casey and her friend Alex walking across the schoolyard. Their laughing about something; I can faintly hear the buzz of their voices from here.
Damn. When Casey laughs, her whole face lights up. It sounds dumb, but from here you can see her eyes glittering. Her blonde hair falls around her face, making her hook it behind her ear.
