" Hey Tae! Can we go to the mall today?" I asked as I ate my breakfast.
" Sure! But you rarely go to one... what's the occasion today?" Tae asked with a smirk.
" Nah! Just need to get a dress for an upcoming event." I said .
" Oh! Btw, Jungkook's following us." I informed ,preparing to answer his question on why Jungkook's following.
" Sure!" Tae replied.
Jungkook and I looked at each other in surprise at how easily Tae agreed without any suspicion.
After we had changed into some fresh clothes, we got into the car and Tae drove us to the mall.
On the way to the mall, I was very nervous and kept playing with my trembling hands with a thumping heart. Jungkook noticed my actions and and placed his hands over mine. My hands immediately stopped trembling and my heartbeat started to stabilise.
*Y/N POV*
Oh my lord! Does he have magical hands? And how is he so observant ? Usually when I do this, Tae doesn't even realise .... right... he's a physiatrist...

When we reached the mall, Tae dropped us off at the entrance and said that he would meet us later before driving off to the carpark to park the car.
As I stood at the entrance of the mall, I look down and my body was shaking in fear as I saw the morning crowd stream in and out of the mall entrance.
Jungkook saw me trembling and held my hand tightly. I looked at him in surprise and he whispered to me " It's okay , I'm here!"
I tried to pull my hand away in embarrassment and mumbled silently, " Jungkook , too many people..."
" Think about me , not about them. I am more important than them right? This also helps a lot in situations where your anxiety is overwhelming you and you can't control it..." Jungkook said to me in a comforting tone.
I nodded my head and Jungkook held my hand tight.
*Y/N POV*
Omg!! Why is my heart fluttering because of him!! Why's he so sweet towards me?!

As we walked through the entrance of the mall, I pulled Jungkook with me straight to the stall that I needed to get my dress from.
When we reached the shop, the both of us went in and I immediately spotted the dress that I wanted to buy and broke my hand connected with Jungkook.
Just as I laid my hands on my size of the dress, suddenly another hand also landed on the piece I was eyeing on.
" Urm... excuse me... I took this first .. would you mind"
" Y/N?" The person said making me look up in surprise. I gasped as I looked at the person.
It was... Loral!
I immediately retreated my hand and looked down , not daring to make any eye contact.
" Woah... Y/N, didn't know that you still have the face to come out after what happened before Lisa's party..." She smirked while scanning me from head to toe and saying.
Her words were triggering my anxiety hard , and I could feel many people staring at us because she said it quite loudly.
I tried to snatch the dress back but she pushed me hard , causing me to fall to the ground. I held my arms ( since I fell on my side) with tears forming in my eyes, as anxiety started overwhelming me.
" Btw, Y/N , you wanted this dress right?? But I fit better in this dress because even if you buy this dress, your face doesn't do this dress justice..." She said while giving me a cold stare before walking off to the cashier with the dress in her hand.
By this time, a small crowd had gathered around to see the commotion going on.
Just as Loral was about to pay for the dress at the counter, suddenly, I saw Jungkook putting his hand on the dress.
" I saw with my bare eyes that Y/N laid her hands on this dress first. So she should be buying this dress instead of you..." Jungkook said while staring straight into her eyes.
I immediately got up and ran infront to persuade him that it was okay but he didn't seem convinced.
" Woah Y/N, didn't know you can have such a hot boyfriend based on your personality and looks, watch out!! He might become mine overnight." Loral said in a mocking tone.
Her words felt like daggers and heavy teardrops started falling down my cheeks.
Jungkook immediately shield me behind his back and said " Yes!! I am her boyfriend so don't you dare bully her if not I promise you will regret it. And also, I don't want to have a slutty Girlfriend like you."
I tugged at Jungkook's shirt from the back, signalling that I wanted to go home, but Jungkook didn't give in to me this time.
Loral seemed a little shocked at what Jungkook just said to her ( no one has ever had the guts to talk to her this way) and to avoid further embarrassment of herself, she had no choice but to give up buying the dress.
As she walked pass me, she whispered to me " Y/N, it's such a pity that he's your boyfriend. You are not worthy enough to be his girlfriend. He might ditch you one day and you will know why..." she said coldly before exiting the store.
Jungkook helped me to purchase the dress using his card .
While the cashier was processing the purchase, he turned around and saw the streaming teardrops down my cheeks .
" Y/N , please don't cry . After I purchase this , we will go home okay?" Jungkook said concerningly. I just nodded my head as I wiped my tears with the back of my hand.
Jungkook called Tae to pick us up and bring us back home ( btw, Tae could not find a parking lot so he didn't find you and Jungkook in the mall) .
