" Hey Baby!!" Tae cheerfully greeted me and Jungkook before his expression took a turn on seeing Jungkook carrying me into the car as his gaze fell on the bruise on my knee.
" Ooo, that looks nasty?! Does it hurt baby?" Tae asked worryingly.
" It does hurt a little but I'm fine!!" I smiled , not wanting Tae to worry too much . " Okay, but I think Jungkook's gonna have to take care of that before the event..?" Tae said while turning to Jungkook and Jungkook nodded in reply.
" Come on... we gotta hurry!" I signalled to Tae to start the engine and Tae sped off .
Upon reaching home, Tae and Jungkook helped me out of the car to my room before Jungkook proceeded to treat my bruise with me whining in pain as he touched my bruise.
" All done princess!! Let's go choose your outfit." Jungkook said as he finished attending to my bruise. I nodded and led him to my walk-in wardrobe to where I stored my clothes.
Jungkook and I looking around for some suitable clothing when I heard Jungkook call me, " Princess , why don't you wear this??" Jungkook asked while holding up the dress that I never wanted to see Nor touch again...
" Urm... I-I think I'll wear that another time..." I replied with a little shaky voice while Loral's words started ringing in my head " your face doesn't do this dress justice..." .
" Why Y/N? Is it because of that incident? Come on... you'll look really good in this dress!! Just ignore what she said okay? You trust me ... right?" Jungkook asked as he walked closer to me and pushed my hair behind my ear to look at me , with his eyes full of lust.
I slightly nodded and Jungkook told me to go get dressed while he went back to his room to put in a formal suit.
After I had put on the dress , I applied some make up and some concealer on my wrist because I didn't want to attract attention .
Also, the dress couldn't cover "them" up since it was sleeveless. After that, I went out of the bathroom , only to see Jungkook in a fitting suit revealing his slender body frame.
As he saw me step out of the bathroom, I saw his eyes lit and he looked a little shocked.
*Jungkook POV*
As I saw Y/N step out of the bathroom, I was completely baffled .
She looked perfect.
The dress fitted her curves so well and she looked insanely beautiful...
Damn... those clothings of hers really hid her perfect body so freaking well... if she had worn this kind of clothing Everyday, I would have gone crazy..
*End of Jungkook POV*
" Urm... how do I look Jungkook..?" I asked a little uncertain and Jungkook didn't reply.
" Urm.. should I go and change ?" I asked as I prepared to walk back into the bathroom when Jungkook finally said something, " NO!! You look gorgeous , princess!! I never knew you looked this pretty!" Jungkook exclaimed while I blushed at his comment and decided to tease him a little, " Awh... so you're trying to say that I do not look pretty usually?" I pouted at him.
" NO!! NO!! You look pretty all the time but I never knew you had this side of you... that girl - crush side of you!!" Jungkook complemented me and I smiled innocently like a child.
" Come on... we gotta go before we are late!!" Jungkook said while looking at his watch. I grabbed a purse and put my phone , a small make-up bag to touch up later during the event and my wallet , before taking Jungkook's hand for support and going downstairs .
As Jungkook and I walked down the stairs, Tae was already waiting.
" Woah , woah!! This couple looks like they are headed for their wedding night man!!" Tae teased us and the three of us just laughed.
After we got in the car, Tae drove off to the venue.
" Baby, there's gonna be lots of people at the venue later, if you feel uncomfortable or anything , just let me or Jungkook know okay? We'll bring you out of the venue to give you some breather kay?" Tae told me.
" Thanks Tae!! Love you!!" I smiled , thankful for the fact that Tae was being so considerate towards me.
On the way there, Tae and Jungkook kept cracking jokes and started some small talks to ease my anxiety about the event.
When we reached the place, Tae parked the car and I held Tae on my right and Jungkook on my left as we walked to the lift lobby.
When we had reached the venue , which was a ballroom, Tae showed the invitation card and an usher welcomed us .
The moment we stepped into the ballroom, all I heard was loud music and saw many people talking while drinking with one another.
My anxiety was slowly building up and I tried to ease my anxiety by breathing in and out as I slightly tightened my grip on Tae and Jungkook's arm. They both sensed it and placed their other hand on mine to calm me down.
Then, some businessmen spotted Tae and came over to greet him before inviting Tae to have a drink with them. Tae was a little unsure whether I'll be alright and turned to look at me while I nodded my head in response to tell him I'll be fine. After that, Tae disappeared in the crowd.
Now, it was only me and Jungkook left .
The both of us walked around and a waitress served us some champagne. I was about to take a glass of champagne , when Jungkook suddenly stopped me , saying " I don't think you should be..." As he directed his gaze to my hand that was reaching out towards the tray of glasses on the waitress's hand .
I reluctantly put my hand down and Jungkook asked the waitress to give me a glass of juice instead.
" Do you drink at this kind of events usually?" Jungkook asked.
" Yeah... well I mean no one knows my age Nor do they check and it kinda takes my mind of my anxiety so why not..?" I shrugged.
" Then well , with me at least, you wouldn't get a chance to drink since I know underage drinking is not only illegal but also bad for you." Jungkook said as he gently poked my forehead .
Then, I saw Tae signalling to us to come over. I tugged Jungkook's arm and walked towards Tae's direction.
" Hey Baby, this is Mr Ma . Our biggest client. Mr Ma, this is Mr Kim's Daughter, Ms Kim Y/N." Tae introduced Mr Ma to me and vice versa.
" Hi Mr Ma, nice to meet you, I'm Kim Y/N , Just call me Y/N." I smiled while releasing my arm from Jungkook and extending for a warm handshake , ignoring the fact that my heart rate was rising quickly and my hands were getting clammy, well... I mean I can't afford to be rude to my dad's biggest client..?
Thankfully, it was a quick handshake and Mr Ma didn't seem to notice it. I quickly pulled my hand back to Jungkook's arm and plastered a fake smile on my face as if nothing had happened.
" Hi Ms Y/N, it's a pleasure to meet you, just wondering how old you are since you look quite young. I don't mean to be rude and you can always keep it confidential cause I know it can be quite a sudden question on our first meeting." Mr Ma curiously asked while being extremely polite and cautious.
" Oh! It's okay Mr Ma. I am 19 this year." I replied with a fake smile.
" Oh!! You're same age as my daughter! Maybe I could introduce you to her and maybe the both of you could be friends!" Mr Ma exclaimed.
" Sure .. sure!!" I pretended to act like I was fine and clam but on the inside I was literally about to collapse?!
" Come here.!" Mr Ma pulled his reluctant Daughter over as she struggled.
" Pa!! I said I'm bu-... Y/N?" A familiar voice called my name.
