Ten Count - Alternative Ending

Today was a normal day at work, but I always had to think about what happened this morning. Mostly because of Kuroses body. He's so well-built. I blushed at that thought. Mikami noticed that and asked if I'm okay. I nodded shy and he went back to his own work.
After some time I got a text message. I looked at my phone to see who sent it and it was from Kurose. I don't remember having his number. Getting excited and nervous, I opened the message.

Hello Shirotani,
I hope I don't distract you from your work but I just wanted to tell you something.
Since you don't have to work the whole day today, I thought we could work on the list, if you know what I mean ;) I will come to pick you up and we are going to go swimming!
See you then!

I smiled but then realized the swimming part. I answered with an 'okay' but I hesitated because I wasn't sure wether or not to put a ;) at the end. I ended up sending it without an emoticon.

Today, the hours seemed to pass by twice as slow as usual and when I finally left the big building, I could almost feel that I was getting kind of.... excited.
My hands started to sweat in my gloves that I still wore at work and I ended up throwing them into the washing machine as I got home.
I mean it was better than throwing them out entirely and I realized once more that Kurose has helped me so much in so many ways.
I started getting ready to leave and soon my boyfriend came and we went to the local pool.
„Hello pretty boy" he greeted me with a kiss on my cheek which I could actually enjoy after all this time.
As we entered the hall I instantly was hit by the intense smell of chlorine.
I'm not sure if I can even remember the last time I went swimming.
