I woke up to an knock on the door. I groaned

"Dinners ready.'

"Okay."I moved around on the need to find it empty always fucking empty. I sighed putting on my clothes and going downstairs.I saw Alex I kissed her and wrapped my arms around her waist

"I woke up to an empty bed again."Alex laughed

"Sorry Ash but Brenda started crying and you looked so peaceful sleeping."

"One of you could've stayed I would rather wake up with one of you in my arms then none babe I don't like that feeling."

"Soory b-'

"I know Brenda our daughter I know."

"Babe you ready to eat?"I sighed

"Yeah sure."Aaron walked up to me and kissed me

"Sorry but I was helping your mother cook."I nodded

"It's fine babe."We walked into the dining room and everybody sighed in relief

"FINALLY LET'S EAT!!"I laughed at Ariel who hands were intwined with Jazmine and my father.

"Ash you pray."I sighed joining my hands with my mother's and Alex.I bowed my head and closed my eyes.

"Dear God we thank you for the hands that prepared this wonderful meal and that it will provide nutrients and healing for our bodies and good that we get to see each other once again amen."

"Amen."I sat down.

"Daddy."Brenda cried out Aaron handed Brenda and giving me her plate.I sat Brenda on my lap and blowing in her chicken before giving it to her. Brenda smacked as she chewed. My phone rung.
