I was at the library to meet my friend (Y/n) since it was too loud to read at my house, and we haven't seen each other since high school and we finally had a chance to meet up with them again. like me they loved reading so we thought a library would be the appropriate place to be. I was there a little early so I sat in the reading section and pulled out my own personal book while the people in the library just stared. I rolled my eyes and started to read when I felt someone poke my cheek "can I help you-" "Boop!" my friend said interrupting me. "(Y/n)! its great to see you again!" I said hugging them

Oh my lord. they're more handsome/beautiful than I remembered.

oh did I forget to mention that I used to have a crush on them? Well now you know. (if you get that reference then you get hugs an cookies.)

"yeah its great to see you again! still keeping up with reading I see?"

"you bet!" I replied listening to their amazing voice.

"oh how delightful! I kind of wanted to talk to you about this book series I've recently re-discovered. they said rubbing the back of their neck...

"oh really? what's it called? did we read it as kids?" I asked shooting questions at them.

"actually, it is! its the 'Geronimo Stilton' (Call me childish but get some hugs cookies and more if you know what I'm talking about.) series! do you remember it?" they asked me a happy and childish look in their eyes.

"actually I do! quite a small book though. remember when we watched the t.v. show when we were little and you freaked out because they were all out of character?" I asked stifling a snicker.

they laughed. "of course! I swore never to watch it again but you made me give it a second chance. I'm glad you did though we got some bonding time out of it!" they gently elbowed me in the rib since they were shorter than me.

I was nervous... I wanted to tell mark ive loved him through out the years we were apart...After all we use to be best friends. im sure it'll be fine... "hey mark?" " yeah (y/n)?"

"w-well.. can I show you something?" "uhh sure" then I kissed him.
