Confidence (Momo x Reader)

You sigh as you walk down the hallway, to your classroom. It was early in the morning, but you wanted to get to class early for your first day! You still couldn't believe you got into UA, even though you worked really hard to get where you are. Nothing could wipe the huge smile off your face as you walked into the classroom.

Not many people were there yet, maybe 5 or 6 people, but everyone was chatting happily among themselves. You walk farther into the classroom and set your bag down by a desk in the back taking a seat.

You took this chance to quickly look around. There was a boy with blue hair and glasses, who was scolding a boy with bright yellow hair that seemed to have a black lightening bolt going through it, for sitting on the table instead of the seat right next to it. There was also a group of girls. One was all pink, with inverted eyes. The next had strange marks under her eyes and....headphone jacks on her ears? Must be her quirk. The last girl though, she was the most interesting to you! Her hair was pulled up into a spiralled pony tail, and she was holding herself up with confidence, something you happened to lack. You watched her for a bit. She seemed relaxed and happy as she spoke with the other two girls, smiling the whole time.

You wanted to go say hello, but your stomach turned in knots as soon as you even thought about standing up. You decided it would be best to stay seated, instead of getting up and having the possibility of embarrassing yourself. You close your [E/C] eyes and take a deep breath, trying to sooth your nerves.

Once you relaxed yourself as much as you possibly could, you opened your eyes to see a small....boy? His hair was a dark purple, and was shaped in balls. Perhaps it had something to do with his quirk? He gave you a sly smile and you instantly got a feeling he was going to say something you wouldn't like.

"Hey there, you're pretty hot-"

You were right

Your face goes a dark red "e-e-excuse me?" You say in a soft voice, narrowing your eyes. "Not even a hello first?"

The boy looks taken a back for a second "wow you didn't yell at me or hit me. You must be an angel!"

This was getting worse and worse. You scoff and roll your eyes. "I would appreciate it if you would go away." You mumble in an irritated voice, wanting to be rid of this kid. He made you uncomfortable. Before the boy could respond the pink girl from earlier rolled over in a chair, quite literally pushing him away from you "heya! I'm Mina!" She says, grinning at you.

You smiled politely back at her. "Nice to meet you Mina! I'm [Y/N]!" You say, offering her a hand. She takes it and pulls you out of your seat and into a side hug.

Your face goes red once again, not having expected that. Either way, you smile a bit wider, happy that this girl was so friendly to you. Mina lets you go as the two other girls walk over to introduce themselves.

You learn that they are named Jirou and Momo. You happily chat with the three as the classroom slowly starts filling up with more people. As more people joined you guys in the classroom, more girls ended up joining the conversation. Those girls were Tsuyu and Ochacko. Even a few boys came over to chat with you (of which you later learned that their names were Denki, Sero and Midorya)

You smiled, enjoying the conversation you were having with your new classmates when the door few open, and the loud and proud english teacher walked in. It was the one and only, Present Mic!

You listened to his radio show once or twice, and as well as having been there for his speech before the UA entrance exams, you knew he was a pretty big Extrovert, and was...hyper one could say. You couldn't lie, his out there personality was a bit inspiring, especially for someone like you, who had a hard time getting the courage to talk to people. Your classmates bid you farewell as they migrated back to their seats....all but Momo. She stuck behind for a minute.
