Summary: When you see your soulmate you turn into a superhero.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Everyone had an awakening, the awakening of their true abilities when they had saw the one they were supposed to spend the rest of their lives with.
Most people never get the chance to meet their soulmate, or if they do their awakening isn't strong enough to realize it.
  I had my awakening about a month ago. It. Was. Awesome.
I was walking down the street and the convenience store next to me was getting held up, I didn't know what I was doing but I tried to run past. I couldn't get my feet to move and my eyes were glaring into the window where I saw 4 thugs in avengers masks, and the Spider-man. I somehow couldn't take my eyes of the situation.
I felt my blood boil, my heart race, and my lungs desperate for air.
I didn't know what was happening at the time, until I saw my hair start to turn silver. I quickly ran around the corner and looked down at my hands.
They were glowing.
I didn't know what to do so I reached into my bookbag and I grabbed my hoodie. I quickly slipped it on over my head and left the hood up. I didn't know what I was doing, my mind kept telling me to stop but it was like destiny swept me up in its arms and played me like a marionette doll.
I ran around the corner as fast as I could, and I pushed my hands forward. I saw bolts of electricity bend and break out of my hands and broke the glass windows of the store.
I saw spiderman on the ground with a hand over his ribs like he had broken them.
I pulled the strings of my hoodie a little tighter and stepped through the window to be met with the barrel of a blaster looking thingy. I gripped my hand around the barrel and I did the same thing that I did to the window.
I saw the man shake and spatter as if he was being tazed.
I felt every bit of electricity in the room, from the cash register to the phones people were holding up outside filming.
I saw another thug pull a gun on me, like an actual revolver and I just giggled. I didn't know if it was from nervousness or from actual pleasure in someones future pain.
He stood there kind of shocked as I grabbed the front of the gun.
"Metal is a conductor yanno?"
Then I let out the biggest jolt of energy I could muster. He flew back and I looked at my hands in surprise. He was out cold, and on the other side of the room.
Spider-man hopped up and said "holy shit."
"You okay?" I said
"Yeah, I don't know about him though." he said laughing at the guy on the ground.
The last 2 thugs were bolting after us from a few yards away.
"You got lefty and I got righty." He said
"Gotcha."
There was an extension cord on the ground running from the front counter to the wall.
I yanked the cord up as hard as I could and I sprinted toward the thug on the right. I was running faster than I had ever ran in my life.
He shot at me and I yelped as I felt a red hot burning in my left shoulder, I quickly slid under him and wrapped the cord around his ankles. My shoulder was aching with pain, but the adrenaline was dulling it out.
Once I was done tying him up as he was shooting at me, I grabbed the cord and sent some sparks through it, but I guess I sent a little much through it because he was screaming in pain.
Spidey had already got the other guy knocked out and I stood up and looked at him.
"I think we are done here,"
"Nope," I said as I walked behind the counter to see a man cowered down behind it.
"Are you okay sir?" I asked. He was shaking. I stood up and grabbed a sticky note and a pen.
"I'm going to give you my number, okay? Call me if anything happens like this again and I will be here in a heartbeat."
"Thank you so much ma'am. What is your name?"  "Uhh, call me the Conductor."
I turned back around to see Spider-man doing some crowd control, and he was talked to the police.
I didn't want anyone to see who I was so I got up and sprinted out of the back. I grabbed my back and started to walk home.
"Where you going?" I heard a familiar voice say.
"Home, I'd prefer to be in the room when my mom sees this on the news."
I flipped down my hoodie and I watched the ends of my hair go back to normal.
"Woah, I've seen you before!" he said all excited and high pitched "Uhh, I mean I've seen you around before." He said in a deeper, calmer, and manlier voice.
"Where?"
"Uhh just around."
"Well idk who I saw to make me have my awakening, but it was awesome."
"It was, can I see you again soon?"
"Sure, when?"
