Chapter 1- Annabel

Anna P.O.V

            “Meldy! Meldy! Look over there! I think we’re close!” I shouted softly skipping and jumping as I pointed to a large castle thingy. “Do you think that’s it? Do you think its Fairy Tail?” I asked her excitedly. She just groaned as we walked down the street. Meldy has bad motion sickness. I stopped and sniffed the air. I smelled a scent close to Meldy’s. “Meldy, you sure your cousin is in the Fairy Tail guild?” I asked her pausing. She nodded and smiled. I knew she missed her cousin; after all it’s been like 10 years. I was so excited to meet him. He sounded so nice and fun and kind and…. “Anna, stop bouncing around your acting like a 6 year old getting a new toy” Meldy huffed, crossing her arms over her chest. “Sorry!” I squeaked. She just rolled her eyes. I just ran around from store to store. People stared at me. I caught their eyes and smiled brightly. They looked at me kindly. That’s the look I always get. I guess its cause of my look. I have my strawberry blonde hair in two ponytails in curls, with big blue eyes, a big smile and an aqua blue dress. I looked younger than my actual age, 17, because of my almost flat chest. I didn’t care though. It’s about personality, right? I just spun around in a twirl as we were almost to the guild. “Meldy, I see it! It’s Fairy Tail! Look!” I shouted, pointing to the castle like figure. People looked at us. “Hush it Anna! Stop acting immature” she said, annoyed at the fact I was acting like a 10 year old on candy. I giggled. We stopped in front of the guild hall. It was huge! I couldn’t believe it. It looked like it was a Fairy Tail castle. “Stay right here Anna. I’m gonna come back and get you in 5 minutes. Stay here.” Meldy spoke firmly to me. I nodded. I waited patiently outside. It seemed like forever. Then I saw a pretty butterfly. “Hey wait!” I called to it, and chased it around. I found myself in the woods. There was a deer. I walked over to it and gently pet it. I get along well with animals. After all, I am a Butterfly dragon slayer. I saw a river and dipped my feet in, sitting on the bank.

Melody P.O.V

            “Excuse me” I said firmly, seeing a fighting guild. They all stopped and looked at me. Idiots. “I’m looking for Natsu Dragneel.” I said to the quiet guild. “Natsu Dragneel?” someone asked. “Yeah” I said with attitude. “17 years old, fire dragon slayer, only guy with pink spiky hair, likes to fight. I think he joined this guild about 7 years ago.” I said rudely. Talking bitchy gets you what you want. “I’m Natsu Dragneel” a dude with pink spiky hair said coming to stand in front of me. I smirked. “So you are alive Natty” I said to him, making his mouth drop open. “Meldy?” he asked confused by my appearance. I grabbed him and squeezed him tight. Then I threw him to the ground. “It’s been awhile cuz” I said to him. Everyone was confused. He got up. “Igneel told me you died ten years ago” he said pointing a finger at me. I rolled my eyes. “Alice told me the same thing about you” I scoffed, crossing my arms over my chest. “Why would they do that” Natsu asked. “Probably because Igneel was tired of watching his kid get beaten to a pulp by his less powerful girl badass cousin” I teased. “You never beat me up!” he said, knocking his head to mine. I pushed him to the floor and rolled my eyes. “Honestly, who’s been watching you all these years? You were smarter than a complete dumbass before Mom and Igneel ran off.” I said, acting like a bitch. The guild looked lost. Dumbo’s. I sighed. “I came here for another reason other than to see you any way.” I said to him. “Why else did you come?” He asked. I sighed. “My best friend wants to join a guild, so I came here to ask if I could join, along with her” I said. “You’ve become a softy?” Natsu teased. “Like hell” I said, rolling my eyes while giving him a small punch. “I’ve just been taking care of her for the past 7 years. She’s a bit dense but very loving towards others. And she’s also a dragon slayer.” I said looking down at him. “I think you’ll like her” I looked up and walked to a red head that seemed smart. “Excuse me, but where is your master?  I want to join this guild.” I told her. She nodded her head slightly and went to get the master. I turned back towards Natsu. “I’ll be right back. I’m gonna get my friend” I told him, and walked out of the guild. I looked around. Anna wasn't where I left her.
