Chapter 10 - Hospital Room

“How the hell do you do this,” he muttered, getting frustrated in that he hooked it four times and couldn’t get it to stay.

“Need help?” I asked him.

“No”

“You sure?”

“I don’t need help.” He fell backwards on to the bed. Lucy and I face-palmed.

I shook my head.

I walked to the doorway and waved down a nurse.

She helped Natsu while I sat down. Natsu had a new bruise from falling down on the foot bed board. And the side bed board. The nurse said that if he had to go, to wave down a nurse, and to stay put. He crossed his arms over his chest. This was going to be a long recovery. Long. I giggled. I was glad he was feeling a little better.

Melody P.O.V.

Anna was holding Natsu’s hand in an attempt to help him feel better. How many times is Natsu going to get sick? If I didn’t know any better, I’d say he has a weak immune system. But that’s not possible, right? But if you think about it, it makes sense why he eats so much, and why he’s not getting better. I’m sure he’ll be fine. I am more concerned for Anna. She’s been acting differently lately. Come to think about it, she’s been acting this way since Natsu has been admitted here. I heard Anna take a breath. She’s gonna SING?

Natsu looked at her and gave a weak smile. Anna’s getting better at her singing. “How about another one,” Gray asked. Lucy nodded her head. Natsu too. “What do you want to hear,” Anna asked Natsu.

Anna turned towards Lucy.

Anna thought for a moment. She took a breath.
