“Come here” he said, gesturing me to lie down next to him. I got up and snuggled up on the bed with him. He looked at me. “I got something to ask you” he said.

“What?”

His cheeks tinted pink. “Umm…”

“What is it?”

“Want to get married?”

My heart stopped.

“Will you marry me?” he said correcting himself.

My cheeks heated up. “I-I”

I snuggled up close to him.

“So is that a yes?”

I nodded. I looked to see Natsu smiling. I smiled back at him. He leaned in and kissed me. “Great” he murmured, pulling away. He wrapped his arms around me. I yawned. I closed my eyes, drifting into sleep.

I walked into the room with Lucy, Gray, Erza and Happy. Natsu was holding a sleeping Annabel in his arms. Do they always fall asleep like this when there alone? His face was buried in her hair, his eyes closed. I walked closer, only for Natsu to jolt upright. He gave a quite signal then looked down at Anna and smiled. I think for the first time, I actually smiled with no worries at the two. I shot a glance at Gray, who was staring at the two. Maybe one day. Although, I’d have to fight Juvia and then have Natsu telling me not to go near the stripper. I sighed. Maybe.

“I’m going home to get some of your stuff, K?” Anna said cheerfully to Natsu. Natsu was propped up with two pillows behind him. The doctors said it would be a 4 month recovery depending on his healing speed. I bet on two weeks. Anna skipped out of the room, humming some song. Honestly I have no idea about her. “What’s got her so happy?” I muttered. Natsu grinned. Something’s up. “Spill it before I make your recovery time longer” I stated. He blushed. “I-I asked her one o-of the big Q’s” he stuttered. My jaw dropped. You got to be kidding me! “What’s the three big Q’s?” Lucy asked. “Q 1: will you be my girlfriend? Natsu covered that. Q2: I’m actually not gonna say that one, and I have no idea if that was the question and Q3: will you marry me? So which one Natsu, 2 or 3?” Grey asked. Natsu sunk down so his scarf covered his face. “Not. Telling.” He mumbled. So he’s trying to leave us hanging? “Tell me now” I ordered. Erza, Lucy and Happy looked very interested. “At least tell us the number!” Lucy shouted. Natsu held up 3 fingers. “WAAA!!!!” Everyone except Natsu shouted.

“Wait… you asked her to marry you?” Gray asked. Natsu wasn’t blushing anymore, just plain annoyed by the same question asked by Gray over and over. “Yeah” Natsu said in an annoyed tone. Erza was still trying to process. “I’m so happy for you! But why did you pick now to ask?” Lucy raved. “I dunno. I felt like it?” Natsu replied, shrugging his shoulders. I smell his pure excitement. “Flame brains getting married” Gray stated, looking down. Clearly in his own world. Probably hating the fact Natsu was up at something before him, or was he just shocked? Then it hit me. My cousin is getting married. I walked up to him and slapped him across the face. “What the hell was that for?” he asked, rubbing his cheek. “A congratulations gift, and a reminder that your only 17 years old.” I said. He started muttering under his breath. “Bitch” was the only word I heard clearly. Good for him.
