Midoriya's POV

It's been weeks since Kacchan was nice to me. Well the one time he was. In the weapon exam. I was so happy to see just a small caring action from him. It hurts everyday knowing that we're enemies now. But no matter how much I want to change it he keeps pushing me away. It's going to be Valentine's Day soon. I'm sure my friends will be getting lots of sweets and confessions unlike me. 

I enter the classroom and notice mostly everyone is present so I greet Uraraka and Iida. After greeting them I greet a few more of my classmates before Mr. Aizawa walks in. "Alright let's get to work." He said walking up to the stand. I took a seat along with everyone else. "What are we learning today sir?" Iida asked raising his hand. "Maybe if you were patient you'd know." He answered making some of us chuckle. "Sorry sir."

"Today we're learning-" Before Mr. Aizawa could continue the lights went off. I got scared and gripped onto the first thing that I could reach. It didn't seem like furniture or a book... It felt like a person... Wait who else is in front of me? "K-Kacchan?" I muttered looking up since my head was buried in his chest. "You're still such a scaredy cat Deku." He chuckled and even though I couldn't see it I could feel him smirking. I blush at his words and keep my grip on him since he didn't tell me to let go or anything. I was surprised that he didn't push me away instantly or tried to blast me. "It seems to be a blackout." He whispered as he massaged my back soothing me. Is this really Kacchan?! No way would he even do this! But his voice... it's definitely him. No one else calls me Deku like him. It's weird when Uraraka does it but when Kacchan says it makes me feel good. 

"Is everyone alright?" Mr. Aizawa shouted. "Yes!" We responded. "What do you think caused the blackout sir?" Yaoyorozu asked in the distance. "I'm not sure... we've never had a blackout before." He answered making me even more worried what if it's the League of Villains again? I trembled in fear when I remembered that I couldn't save Kacchan from them once. "Hey you ok?" Kacchan asked holding onto my shoulders. I couldn't see him but I can hear the worry in his voice. "Y-yeah." I muttered trying to relax. "Everyone stay calm. Kaminari try contacting the principal's office." Aizawa instructed. "Right." Denki said. "Jirou. Try to see if someone is heading our way." 

Oh no could someone have infiltrated UA again? This can't be happening. Didn't UA put better security now? How could they possibly enter the facility? I could feel Kacchan's warm hands on my back and his warm breath. It calmed me down a bit but I was still worried. What if they made more Nomu?

"There's two heading this way." Jirou informed making my worries flood back in. Kacchan's grip on me tightened. I gasp and look up despite it being pitch black. The windows were sealed too so that means that they're gonna trap us in here. "They're coming-" Jirou announced but not to soon they busted in cutting her off. We could finally see again when the opened the door and quickly saw who it was. Toga and Dabi. 

"Hey did you miss me?" Toga asked smirking. We all look at them and get into fighting positions. I was in front of Kacchan but before I knew it Dabi fired and he took the hit for me. Everyone looked at him amazed. "Kacchan... You took the hit for me." I mumble and he just smirks.

"Whatever nerd. You gonna fight or not?" He said and I nodded. "Everyone stay back I'll handle them!" Mr. Aizawa yelled. I gasp since I was about to attack and look over at my teacher. "Come on old man... You couldn't beat me last time. What makes you think you can now?" Dabi asks smirking. I gulp and look over to Aizawa. "Stay back!" He ordered and we stayed put. He was about to erase his quirk and attack when Toga appeared out of no where and grabbed me. "Deku!"

"MIDORIYA!" 

I felt a sharp sting in my right arm and look over to see a needle inside my arm. It sucked blood out of me but it wasn't any needle. This hurt a lot. I yell like crazy as it sucked blood out of me. "DABI NOW!" Toga announced. Dabi blew off the roof and Kacchan grabbed me. He covered me as the roof fell on top of us.
