Secret Princess Chapter Twenty7

Briella's Pov.

Staring up at him with tear stains on my cheeks and my nose a slight rosy red color

''Y-y-you felt my p-p-pain?'' I say softly looking at him biting my bottom lip knowing i'm not yet out of tears, but god I'm like a freaking waterfall that will never stop

He takes a couple steps closer to where ben and i are, glancing at ben with a glare that helds jealousy and being possesive look in his eyes ''Yes'' he growls out 

Glares at him ''You have no right to growl at ben like that Damon!'' I say crossing my arms, looking straight into his eyes.

Damon's Pov.

Ben, i thought.

So that is his name

My face softens and i look into Briella's eyes stepping closer to her

But... ben stopped me before i could even get close enough to my loving mate

A growl starts to form in my chest hating being held back from my mate, especially when she is really hurt 

''That is close enough'' He says sounding less than a teenager at that very moment 

''I need to explain myself her, please!'' I say kind of sounding like i am begging for approval to talk to my mate

Briella slowly stands up and walks over to me with a slight wobble  ''I'll give you a chance to explain everything to me'' She looks into my eyes with tears still lingering in her beautiful eyes ''But wait until i am done crying and...find a place to live in the mean time'' she says softly looking so broken

I nod looking at her understanding but not from her point of view, since i've never lost my parents and house of memories before

''Yes, i understand uou need some time especially now'' I say softly looking into her eyes, hoping she'll give me a chance to explain myself

I love her more than anything, made the worst mistake of hurting her that day by kissing someone else in front of her

Puts my hand onto her wet cheek and i lean down whispering into her ear ''But always remember Briella, they are not gone they'll always be there, right here'' i lightly touch her heart ''You keep them alive by just being who you are and living''

Slowly pulls back and looks into her eyes ''Your not alone Briella'' I say softly before giving her a passionate gentle kiss ''I love you'' I whisper against her lips ''And i always will''

Steps back ''Let me know when your ready to talk, i'll be waiting'' I take one more last look of  her and those alluring eyes of hers before turning on my heel and walking away from the girl that i love 

Hoping she won't let me get very far before she knows what it is that she wants in life

My heart was slowly breaking with each step i take away from her, fists my hands to remind myself not to show any sign of weakness

Fighting to turn back around and run to her side

Briella's Pov.

I felt his feelings in the kiss slowly puts my finger tips to my lips remembering the sparks i felt when he put his lips on mine, trying to think

''Wait Damon!'' I say unable to keep watching him walk away and almost out of my life ''Please, my parents would have wanted me to give you another chance'' I say softly looking at him 

My words seem to freeze him in his spot  which isn't too far from me

Damon's Pov.

Stops in my steps once i hear her beautiful magical voice ''Please my parents would have wanted me to give you another chance'' 

(For the first time in forever--- reprise)

Slowly turns around towards her ''Could you come on a walk with me?'' offers her my hand as i smile a little at her ''Alone''  glancing over to Benjamin  with a look saying 'stay out of it'

She slowly sighs and nods ''Of course, I'll be fine'' glancing over to ben 

He nods and looks down ''Yes, my princess''

I look at him slightly confused especially at the way it sounded

Thinks to myself 'Briella is a princess?' looking over her face which could and would belong to a beautiful princess

She walks over to me slowly sliding her hand into mine, sparks flew up my arm from the touch of our hands looking into my eyes ''Shall we go now?''
