Chapter 3- I am not afraid of you

Lilia's p.o.v.

It's been around fourteen days since I arrived at the Sakamaki mansion, and I have to say it was very nice. I mostly talked to Shu and Subaru most of the time because I have yet to meet the rest of the residents in the home. Shu said he doesn't want me to meet them yet for personal reasons, so didn't push the topic. Though I am curious about these other people are like, but something tells me that I should be focusing on getting better. Even Though I'm such a burden to Subaru and shu since they spend most of their time with me.
The maids and butler have been tending to my every need, which was strange, to say the least, because I was so used to doing all this myself.
Today I walked over to the bathroom and looked at my face in the mirror. The bruises around my eye, cheeks, and lips were are unnoticeable now, but the one that little my body below my neck were turning greenish yellow and or brown.
Sighing I removed my pale blue nightgown letting it fall to the floor, then wrapping a soft plush white towel around me. Waltzing over the tub I quickly filled it up. getting in to soak the warm water before bathing. My back was nearly healed, plus all the deep gashes were now scabs and more scares.
Finishing my bath, I got out and dried myself off before putting on the clothes that the maids had left for me. Which was a black long sleeve shirt, a pair of black skinny jeans, and a pair of black converses. Lastly, I put on my mother's ring and locket. As well as branding my hair so I didn't have to use a hair band.  Walking out of the bathroom I waited for Shu to come to visit. So I picked up a book that he got me. It wasn't until an hour later till Shu arrived.

Lilia: "Hay Shu." I said with a cheerful voice as looked up from the front of the book but something was off. I noticed he was acting strangely. He looked at me with hunger and I wasn't quite sure why, but it kinda made me nervous.

Lilia: "Shu are you okay?" I said in a more concerned tone of voice, but before I was able to ask any more questions. Shu had quickly walked over to me pulling up by my wrist off the bed making me drop my book in the process. He then pulled shoulder of my black long sleeve down moving his head closer to my neck. Then I saw them the fangs, but I didn't scream. Well, you would think I would but for some odd strange reason, I just didn't... Something inside me just wasn't afraid of him. I already knew that Shu and Subaru were not human. I also kinda assumed that the rest of the residence here were not human either, so I don't know how exactly I knew he wasn't human... it was probably the fact that he referred to me as a mortal or a human sometimes and maybe that hinted that, but people with god complexes have this way of thinking as well. I guess that how it is. I owe everything to Shu, He saved me, shelter me, clothed, feed me, cleaned my wounds, and dressed them and that is a debt I couldn't repay not in a thousand years.

Shu's p.o.v.

I have been thirsty every time I was around Lilia, but I knew I had to wait until she was completely better, but today I couldn't hold back the urges and cravings for Lilia's blood. As I walked into her room I quickly waltzed over, not even leaving a second to waste, I pulled the corner of her long sleeve down to where her shoulder was bare to me. I was about to bite into her neck when I felt her both of her hands move from my back to the back of my head. I Jerked back a little so I could look into her Maya blue eyes and I was surprised that I saw her smiling up at me.

Lilia: "Its okay Shu. I'm not afraid so please take you as much as you want, it's not like my life means anything to anyone." She said still keeping a smile across her face as she whispered the last part but I could still hear it. I blinked a couple time because I was shocked to hear her say that, but I then I slightly frowned at her for the last part she said, why would I suddenly get this feeling of anger when she said that, I thought to myself before I lean in close to her neck causing her to stiffen a bit. I then kissed her on the side of her neck making Lilia shiver.
