the woods and dolans were neighbors if i forgot to mention earlier. again backing up another reason as to why they were never separated, always attached at the hip.

froy and dana has woken up and gotten ready for school. and despite the fact that dana had not felt good that morning her brother insisted that she must go to their last monday of their senior year.

that coming friday they would graduate. be free to venture the county even the world. earning their diploma would set them free from the small town they had called home for years. they all knew they would return home in the end.

froy and dana with their backpacks slung over their shoulders made the small walk over to the dolans residence. a simple knock that only the four of them came up with followed by an open door. froy and dana walked inside the house and found their way to the couch.

where they sat and waited for the boys to drive them to school. once the boys had come down they said their regular hellos. but a kiss was exchanged between dana and ethan. dana and ethan had been in a relationship for an extensive amount of time.

and plans to go to the same college gave them assurance that their relationship would last. "ok come on lovebirds. it's our last monday let's go." grayson called as dana let out a soft laugh as ethan copied her actions. a soft cough was let out of dana's lips.

"are you feeling any better?" ethan asked. "no not really." dana replied shrugging. dana wasn't much of a complainer. "you should stay home. i'll stay with you." ethan said smiling as dana shook her head.

"it's our last monday of our senior year E. froy suggested i go to school. it's only a light cold and a cough. i'll be ok." dana responded as ethan sighed. "ok. if you wanna go home let me know." dana nodded and with that the four were out of the house.

sooner or later the four had arrived at the high school. they arrived right as the bell rang departing their ways to their separate classes. they would meet again at lunch.

but how could they be so sure?
as much as i wish to say that they would see each other at lunch. i cannot make that promise. as dana made her way to her home economics class she heard whispers.

"are you sure you wanna follow through on this?" a voice asked. as dana turned around she saw two familiar faces. gavin dewey and vince getson. the two were known having dark thoughts about other students.

the two boys noticed dana's sudden attention towards their conversation. dana shot them a kind smile. the same smile she gave them everyday. they were in her home economics class.

the two adolescents were extremely bullied and students had been suspended due to the extreme measures taken against the students. dana deep down despised the hate that was aimed towards them.

just because they were weird. all because of that sole purpose. but one smile wasn't good enough to stop what they were about to do, a few more smiles would've changed everything.

she was often partnered up with gavin dewey when vince was gone. vince suffered from anxiety and depression. dana has befriended the two when everybody else would throw food at them at lunch.

she would talk to them and be kind. let them talk about their problems. "уes im sure gavin." vince responded as dana walked into the home economics class. dana found her usual seat two rows from the back of the classroom.

a boy who answered to the name of paul witkins sat next to dana. paul was on the baseball team and wasn't the kindness to other students. but was always kind to dana for the sole reason of her beauty and popularity.

there wasn't one person in the high school who hadn't liked dana.

once the bell rang vince and gavin scrambled into the class. as they made their way to the seats stationed behind dana paul stuck out his foot causing the two boys to trip.

their papers and books spilled everywhere. as the class erupted with laughter dana tapped paul on the back of the head helping the boys up. handing them their papers and books.

"i'm sorry gavin and vince. he's stupid. nobody should be treated like that." dana whispered so only the two boys would hear.

"thanks dana." the two responded in unison seeming a little more down then most days. "are you ok? you seem a little down?" dana asked handing the two their last papers.

"ya just a little nervous. we planned something bf today. just hope it goes right." gavin huffed as dana smiled. vince shod gavin a sharp glare.

"well i hope it all goes well. you can do anything you put your mind to. don't listen to anyone telling you you can't." dana reminded them.

she always reminded them of their possibilities encouraging them through the last few weeks of school. she wanted them to succeed in life, she wanted the best for everyone.

as dana was blindsided as to what the boys were planning. froy woods and grayson dolan made their way to their class.

they shared the first class of american history. as froy and grayson entered the room many whispers dispersed among the class.

the two dismissed it as they found their regular seats making small talk among themselves until the bell had rang. and just as it was everyday before they heard the daily laughs of the room next to them.

which happened to be the home economics class. the two most known outcasts had been in that class with froy's sister. the three boys had always seen dana's kindness to the two boys. but there was always a fear for dana.

the fear that the boys would hurt dana. dana was like froy, in the way of giving too many chances.

froy had always told dana to stay away from the boys. that they were bad news. which in a way they were.

dana has always argued that they needed friends. that she could prevent something from happening to the two boys.

but only one person wasn't going to change anything sadly. it was already too late. the two boys had already made their decision. and that decision was going to change lives.

and make history.
