chapter three........ ice!

The boy named Ray seemed to think my situation was funny. As he pulled me up off the ground his whole arm turned to ice. I quickly pulled my hand away from him And backed away. He looked at his arm in shock than he started to laugh.
"Hahahahahaha! I can't believe your power is that strong!"  He said in between gasps. I turned and started to run.
" hey wait don't run! I know it was an accident. I don't blame you for anything. " he said I turned to look at him and nodded my head. I won't run. I think in my head. I walk towards him.
"Good. You don't have to be scared the whole reason we are here is to find kids like you and protect them." He said smiling at me. The only thing I could really do at this point is nod my head.
" let's take you to your new home. " he said smiling at me. I nodded my head and followed behind him. The rest of the men went behind me or around me. Like they were guards or something. Ray was holding his iced arm up to one of the men and he was melting the ice off with his hands. I gasped. Ray looked over at me and smiled.
"Your not the only one with powers." He said. After a few hours of walking we made it to a helicopter and climbed on. After a little while of flying in the helicopter my seat started to turn to ice and everyone but me started shivering.
"Your not cold?" Ray asked me. I shook my head no.
" Hmmm" he said looking deep in thought. Eventually we started to landing on a huge building. When we landed everyone jumped out except for me. I didn't know if I'm aloud to. But nobody was watching me they were just talking to each other. so after a while I got out. When I jumped out my bare feet hit the floor and the floor started to turn to ice. No no no! I thought and tried to pull myself back up into the helicopter. But the helicopter also started turning to ice. So now the ceiling of this big building and this helicopter was turning to ice..... Great. I thought in my head. The people turned around just in time to see there feet freeze with the floor. I opened my mouth to apologize but again no words came out. Just then I heard clapping from behind Me. I turned around to see a teenager boy floating in the air.
He whistled.
"Phew looks like you got a dangerous one huh Ray." He said looking at Ray who was iced to the floor.
" guess that's what it looks like" he shrugged and I started to panic. Did they think I did this on purpose! I thought in my head.
"Don't worry little boy" the floating guy said floating closer to me.
"I saw what happen. yup all of it. And it looks like you can't control this power. Am I right? He said now floating right in front of me. I nodded my head.
" James could you please melt everyone. " the floating boy said still looking at me.
"Rodger that." One of the men said. I presume they were james.
" Why don't you come with me. I bet your hungry. " the floating kid said. I nodded my head eagerly. He started to float to a door and he opens it he stops floating once he is away from the ice. I just follow behind him.
"Oh! And Ray can you please come with us." The now walking boy said over his shoulder.
"Oh okay Henry" he said and walked over. All the men had been released from the ice by some kind of fire. The boy who can fly was in front of me and Ray was walking at my side.
" please tell me how the investigation went. " Henry said. Ray
Nodded.
"Our camera caught a five year old falling into fire and turning it to ice. We tried to get the boy peacefully for three years but the mother and father kept resisting. They moved away about four months ago again  to attempt to hide from us. They did that often. Our camera caught the mom
Leaving and not coming back when we searched the house we didn't find anything. We searched the woods for a month and didn't find anything so we were going to check the house one more time. We found a secret basement and we found him in there. That's all." Ray said. I was just ignoring him and looking at the hallway we were in. It was huge and had carpet and paintings hanging on the walls.
"So does mean that this is the kid?" Henry asked.
" yes. " Ray nodded.
"Does that mean he hasn't eaten for a month?" Henry asked.
" there was no food in the kitchen the first time we checked the house " Ray said.
"Than this kid needs a warm meal stat!" Henry said. And started speed walking. Ray was skipping I was stumbling to keep up. We walked up to a huge door and opened it. Inside was a cafeteria like one you would see at a school. There were kids my age and older all over the room some eating others playing with there friends.
"Hey! No doing elements in the lunch room!" Henry shouted to a group of kids floating over the tables. Henry started to walk over there.
" C'mon let's go get some food. " Ray said. I started to follow him but he turned around to look at me.
"Um.... Maybe it would be best to sit down and let me get your food." He say. I nod my head and turn to sit at a table that no kids are sitting at. A few moments later Ray if back with two trays full of food. My stomach growled and I quickly grab my spoon. But as soon as I did the spoon turned to ice and then whole tray did to. My eyes started to fill with tears.
" Hahahahahahaha your so..... HOPELESS! HAhaha" Ray laughed and gasped for air. That just made me cry more.
"Awww don't cry. I'll just give you some of my food." He says. He picks up his spoon and scoops some of the mashed potatoes up and holds it to my mouth.
" Say aww" he say. I open my mouth and he plops the food in. my stomach growled at me. He continued to feed me when we were about half way done with the tray I felt full. He went to give me another bite but I shook my head.
"What! Full already? You haven't eaten in A month and your full?" He said.
" Its because he hasn't eaten in a month. that's why he's full. To much food at once and he might puke it out. " Henry said walking up to us.
"It's about time I showed you your room come on." He said And started to leave. I got up to follow him but I tripped over my feet and fell to the floor. My hands went to grab the closest thing and I grabbed Ray. He And half of the cafeteria turned to ice. I looked up And everyone was staring at me.
"Oh geez." Henry said putting a hand on his face.
" everyone that is not frozen leave the cafeteria. I'll go get  James and have him melt you all. hold on. Ice boy you stay still. " he said looking at me. I put my head between my legs and started to cry.
"I'm a monster!" I whispered .
