Chapter 8: The Date

Emily's POV:

I'm getting ready for our second date. I put on my pink lace top with my black skirt. I put on my Chanel makeup, straightened my hair and went downstairs.

I opened the door and Matt was there. He looks so perfect standing there in the suit and bow tie.

"Hey Emily, you look amazing tonight" He smiled and gave me a kiss.

"Thanks Mattchu" I blushed and wrapped my arm around his.

"So, where are we going for our date?" I asked him.

"You'll see" He winked.

"Were here!" Matt said and presented it like a assignment.

"It's beautiful" I said and stared at this nice restaurant I heard that was new.

We went up to the person at the front.

"Hi I'm Matthew and this is my girlfriend Emily. We made a reservation." He said to a girl named Aleisha.

"Oh, hi! and your table is right here." She directed us to this table for two next to the window with the beautiful view.

"Great!" Matt said and he pulled the chair for me. What a gentleman.

"Matt this is amazing." I beamed

"This date is amazing". He answered and he just ordered for the two of us.

"So Emily, what do you think of San Franscisco?" Matt asked.

An hour later our waiter gave us our food. As we ate we were talking about some stuff.

"I really like it here! I thought it would be hard fitting in here but everyone is really nice here and you made it better! and after I graduated from high school in New York, I applied to Northridge University I got accepted!"

"That's good!" Matt beamed.

The waiter came by. "Here's the check."

Matt already paid it and we left.

We went to Dairy Queen. It is my favorite place to go to for ice cream and milkshakes.

I asked for the birthday cake ice cream and Matt asked for chocolate.

We both had a lot of fun.

"Matt this date was really fun."

"I thought so" He said.

I kissed him on the cheek and left one also.

He's the sweetest boyfriend ever.
