On the day of Christmas Emily went back to California and went to her and Matthews apartment. Emily was happy to see her family again for Christmas. She sees the Christmas tree lit up and presents under the tree.
"Hey Emily" matt says and kisses her. they kissed under the mistletoe.
"Hi matthew, how was Christmas?" She asked.
"Good, here" Matt hands her a box with a bow and there's another one for her on the table.
"One direction tickets!!! Holy shit I wanted these for a long time! Thank you so much." Emily says and hugs him.
"You're welcome" matt smiles and we hear barking.
"Oh, and I bought a dog." he says and pets it.
"When?" She asks
"Before you came here. I wanted a dog and I thought you like them so I bought it."
"I love dogs so much. I had one when I was 10 years old. I have this picture too with it." Emily took out two pictures
"Aw that's really cute" He said and looked at the second one and said "I had this picture when I was ten" he blushed.
Emily kissed him then picked the dog up and pet it. She put the pictures down and opened the other present and gave one to matt.
It was a necklace that said her name and she gave matthew one too that had a heart on it.
"Thanks. I love you and I'm happy to have you in my life." matt beamed
"Me too and I loved you since we've met and you're like a brother to me" Emily added and hugs him.
"Can't wait for New Years, and one year anniversary soon." She said
