Be there for you

●●●Dear diary,
A few days from the day I met the man disappeared like a river. And there hasn't been a day I wouldn't think about him.
He left the hospital two days ago and since then I haven't seen him.I want to see him. More than I've ever wanted to see anyone.

I was desperate. I had the need to see this man again. And my mind was blowing up.
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard someone knocking on our front door. And my mother yelling at me.
"Amelia! Somebody is looking for you."
I was curious. Who would have been possibly looking for me? If it was any of my friend, not that I would have more than two or three, my mother would said their name.
So I was sure it was someone new, special.
When I got down the stair I stormed. I couldn't believe in what I saw. The man standing in front of me was the same man I wanted to see.
The man from the hospital.
"He wants to speak with you." My mother turned around and left us.
"I hope I'm not interrupting." His soft smile made my heart melt.
"No, of course not," was the only thing I was able to say, "I just didn't expect such a rare visit." I smiled.
"Well, I wanted to meet you properly, since the first time we met, I was injured and you were taking care of me. Not a chance to present. I'm Damon."
"Amelia, nice to meet you." We shake hands. His hand was warm and I couldn't stop looking at him.Our eye-contact broke when a loud scream came from my house.
"Natalia, put that pottery down!" I heard my mother yelling.
"Can I take you somewhere?" He asked me. I looked into my houseand saw my family, full of scream so I really wanted to get out. I didn't hesitate and my answer was "Yes!"

"So, your wounds are healed?" I asked.
"Yes, you did a great job. I also wanted to thank you. For saving my life."
"I did nothing extra ordinary." I smiled back as we continued to walk.
"How long have you been a nurse?" Damon asked.
"I started when I was sixteen. I've always wanted to help people."And again I was lost in his eyes.
But when I saw my little sister running rigt to us, I stormed again.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. "It's okay." He smiled.
"Amelia! Mother said you-" she didn't countinue her sentence when i pushed her head behind me and she fell on the ground."I have to go." I said.
"Okay, that means I can see you next time, " he smirked. "Can I walk you home?"
"If you want to. " i pushed my sister further and she ran all the way before us."Thank you." He said again.
"You're welcome."I couldn't stop thinking about our next time.
