The man I just claimed was my bestfriend is now the one I'm trying to hide from fear of confrontation. His hands and words may curse me to his sinful ways.

Damn him and trying to ruin our friendship. The sad thing is if I felt violated I would have told him to stop, but it felt weirdly right.

I'm not just some other brunette he's going to deflower. I'm Belle Rivers and I have respect for myself and I will not sleep with a guy just because he's beautifully sexy.

I saw a bathroom up ahead as I heard footsteps behind me.

"Belle is that you?"

I heard his words husky voice behind me and I look behind my shoulder still walking.

"Maybe..."

My voice squeaked out as the arms of my best-friend gripped my waist.

"Were you trying to hide from me?"

His voice was low and husky making me shiver in unwanted desire. Damn him. Even before he lost weight I remember falling in like with just who he was.

"maybe."

My voice sounded tiny now as he turned my body and lightly pressed me up against the lockers causing me to gasp out.

"I apologize if my behavior before scared you, but please don't hide from me. It'll drive me mad with worry Bee."

My eyes widened at the nickname I hadn't heard in years exit his lips. He gave me a hug and pulled away from me and set his hands on my shoulders.

"I won't."

I knew that might be a lie, but the concern in his voice made me want to assure him.

His mouth widens into a broad smile as he drops his hands from my shoulders encouraging me to smile back at him.

There we were standing in the middle of the hallway like two dumbfounded idiots smiling at each other.

I giggle to break the tension realizing how stupid I was to hide from Seth.

No matter what stupid nickname they called him or the delicious way he could use his hands.

He was still my friend and it was no way I should treat him.

"Would you like to come eat lunch with me and my friends?"

My mouth widens into a grin again, nodding my head.

"I hope they're not like that girl I saw you eating."

His resounding chuckle causes me to flush at my words as we walk into the cafeteria doors.

The loud voices discussing gossip and the latest scandal all silenced as Seth's hand was place on the small of my back pushing me forward.

Towards a table of unnaturally attractive boys with girls hanging on their arms like purses.

I catch the eye of a sympathetic Cassy, sitting with Tex, Becca, and a girl with lavender hair. I poked my tongue at her rolling my eyes as I was dragged onward. Cassy winked and tugged her ear laughing at me.

She knew I hated the attention and the hundred or so eyes watching me needed to stop or my breathing would grow ragged. Especially the brunette girls looking like I had stolen their Ben and Jerry's after a breakup. They were the most disturbing.

"Your doing fine Bee, were almost there."

His whisper tickles my ear as we finally make the final strides to the table, the boys eyes were all on me now. Ignoring their lap girls hopelessly trying to regain their attention. My head was cast down as I prayed everyone would stop looking at me.

"So is this the famous Belle?"

My eyes swing over to the green eyes of one of the boys at the table, the only one lap girl free, he was looking at me intently.

Seth had me sit to the left of him as he turned to his friends.

"Yes, it is which means she's off limits. Any other girl in this school is fine, but anyone who hurts or flirts with Belle at this table will be thrown out from the pack."

The red haired boy's attention now was on Seth, had a straight haired brunette on his lap her tank top white and revealing.

"Friend group you mean Seth."

"Ah yeah that's what I meant to say,"

Why was Seth acting so strange? Threatening his friends off me, not that I minded because to be honest they intimidated me. Specially the sandy blonde green eyed one. Who had been the first to speak was analyzing me as I remained quiet at Seth's words.

"Does she speak?"

The girl on the black haired boy's lap, nasally voice cut through the unknown tension.

"When I feel so inclined, yes."

The words surprised me, I normally never lost my temper, but something about her reminded me of the girl in Seth's room last night. This caused my stomach to twist in weird ways.

"Oh Seth, you've got a feisty one on your hands."

I rolled my eyes at green eye boy, I really needed names or I'd be constantly surrounded by strangers.

"Don't I know it, Nik."

"Says the drama queen."

The boys ooohed at my words and a smile spread across my mouth as I look up at Seth attempting to be angry but couldn't help softening under my gaze. He reluctantly smiles rolling his eyes at me.

"Well as you all know my name, I see it only fair that I get all of yours too."

It was as if Seth's confidence had rubbed off on me, its been ages since I've met someone new, not counting Becca that thought I was one of Seth's play thing and Cassy's ex.

"Well green eyes over there is Nik, brown eyes on his left is Dane, the girl on his lap is Jessica, and the beautiful red head before you graciously is Quentin, at your service ma'am. "

"What about me?"

The blonde on Quentin's lap whined in a high pitched tone.He gave her a tight smile and turned back to me.

"This sweet thing in my lap is Candy."

His words resulted in a slap across the face as the girl gets off his lap yelling out in frustration before walking away.

"It's Cindy, you dumb ass."

The whole group burst into laughter at the spectacle as I smiled at Quentin joking. I surveyed the faces at trying to memorize the faces to their names. I thought I should make introductions myself.

"Nice to meet you guys. I'm sure I'll be seeing you around if your friends with this sad mop. I am his long lost best-friend after all."

A grumble comes from the right of me as the boys in front of us perk up at the word best friend.

"Looks like someone got stuck in the friend zone,"

"Shut up Nik, if you want to keep your tongue."

I squeezed Seth's hand once as I noticed his anger picking up at his tone. The second I tried letting go he pressed my hand into his thigh holding it there.

"Now boys, don't poke the bear."

My words were steady, his hand remaining in mine running his thumb across it causing his breathing to slow as Quentin smiled at me.

"Don't you mean, don't poke the beast."
