*Harrys Pov*

It was 9pm on a freezing November night, and the last thing I expected myself to be doing was crouching inbetween two dustbins, trying to talk to a shivering young boy.

The boy peered through the hands covering his ocean blue eyes and stared at me, fear evident in his eyes.

"What's your name, love?" I asked him softly, not wanting to frighten him anymore.

He cringed in on himself, moving the hands from his face to hold himself tightly.

"Please don't be frightened," I frowned, not quite knowing what to say,"what's your name, darling?"

"L-Louis." he whispered, barely audible.

"Hi Lou, I'm Harry." I say quietly, not wanting to scare him.

"How old are you Louis?" I questioned softly.

"F-F-Fifteen." he mumbled timidly.

I nodded slowly, disgusted at the fact that this young boy was half-dressed and shivering on the streets.

"Are you cold, Louis?" I asked, mentally smacking myself afterwards. Of course he's cold, it's bloody 5 degrees.

He looked terrified at first, but then he slowly nodded his head.

"Would you like to come inside my house?" I asked him softly.

He looked petrified, curling into a smaller ball and shrinking further back against the wall.

"It's all okay, you'll be safe I promise" i gently stroked my fingers across the large bruise on his forehead, trying to ignore his flinches, "nobody will ever hurt you again, I promise."

He still looked terrified, but I could tell he was listening to my every word.

"Please come with me? I can't bear the idea of you freezing out here, it's no place for someone like you love." I said to him, truth in my every word.

He bit down on his bottom lip gently, I think debating whether to trust me or not.

"Please, Louis?" I whispered softly.

He looked at me for a minute or two, then he slowly nodded to me.

I smiled softly to him.

"Let's go then darling." I said, slowly standing up.

"B-But my feet, I c-can't feel them." he stuttered, barely audibly.

"I'll carry you, Lou. It's okay, lovely." I whispered gently, crouching down to lift him up from the damp ground. He timidly placed his arms around my neck and his legs around my waist, looking frightened as he did so. One of my arms supported his upper thighs and the other around his bare back, my fingers rubbing soothing circles on his skin.

"It's alright, darling." I whispered into his ear, as I felt him shake from a mixture of fear and the cold.

I walked to my flat, abandoning the now cold pizza in my front garden, keeping a close grip on the freezing boy.

I walked into the flat, locking the door behind me, then gently placing Louis onto my sofa.

"You okay, love?" I asked.

He nodded slowly, still terrified and shivering.

I quickly went and got him a blanket to wrap around him and turned the heating up.

He shivered gratefully when I wrapped the blanket around him.

"Would you like some food, Louis? I'm gonna make some toast or something and some tea?" I asked him softly, making sure not to startle him.
