*Harrys pov*
A loud bang startled me into consciousness. I glanced at my phone and saw the time was only 3am. I stumbled from bed tiredly, feeling like a zombie. Walking down the hallway i figured it was just my imagination playing tricks on me, I had worked a 12 hour shift the day before so I was obviously exhausted, and Louis was hopefully sound asleep still.
I looked around the living room and couldn't see Louis anywhere, fear crept into me at the thought that someone could've taken him.
"Louis??" I said loudly, looking behind the sofas to see if I could find him.
"Lou?? Where are you, darling??" I said even more loudly, but not quite shouting as I didn't want to scare him if he was still here.
Hopefully he was just hiding somewhere, and the loud bang was just somebody knocking loudly on the door? I knew deep down that this wasn't true.
I pulled back the covers on the sofa just to double check he wasn't underneath, which he wasn't.
Suddenly I heard a quiet whimper coming from the kitchen.
"Lou? Is that you, love?" I asked, walking into the kitchen slowly.
My heart stopped beating as quickly when I finally saw him in the kitchen, standing on the other side of the room with his back pressed up against the sink.
He had tears streaming down his face and on the floor he was surrounded by glass shards.
"Don't move, lovely." I told him quietly, not wanting him to hurt himself and step on one of the shards.
I crouched down and slowly picked up the glass shards one by one and threw them into the bin. When I had finally thrown them all away, I stood up and grabbed some tissue. Gently wiping away the tears from Louis' face.
"Why are you crying, Lou? What's wrong, darling?" I said, concern evident upon my features. My forehead creased into a frown.
"P-Please don't be mad at m-me?" he whispered cautiously, he looked so terrified with a few tears escaping his eyes.
"Darling, please don't cry! I'm not mad at you in the slightest! It was an accident baby, okay? Don't cry, lovely." I said softly, pulling him into a loving hug.
He flinched at first and was stiff in my hold, but slowly and gradually he relaxed into my arms. I rested my head on top of his, rubbing circles onto the cotton material of his top.
"What were you doing in here anyway, Lou?" I asked him gently.
He stiffened at first then said something about how he was a bit thirsty.
"Do you need another drink now or would you like to go back to sleep?" I asked him quietly, hoping he was becoming less scared about everything.
"Can I go back to sleep p-please?" he whispered softly into my chest, yawning slightly.
I chuckled at his yawn and said of course he could.
I led him back to the sofa and pulled back the covers for him to get into.
He snuggled contently into the duvet, smiling softly to me.
"You're so adorable, Lou." I whispered to him quietly, making him blush again.
"Get some sleep now, lovely. See you in a few hours."
I walked slowly back to my room, yawning as I went, and crawled back into my bed. Thinking about a blue eyed boy.
