Ruby's P.O.V

I placed Lani into the warm water in the bathtub then got in behind her and pulled her close against me to where she was laying against me. We used to take baths like this. I used the lavender bath bomb that Lani had in her bathroom. That was her favorite bath bomb scent and I believe it still is since she smiled at me when I picked the bath bomb scent out. God I missed her so much.. "Lani.." I spoke. "Yes Rubes?" She asked in response. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked feeling nervous.. I don't want her to say no after what we just did not too long ago in the bedroom. "Yes." She said and I smiled then kissed her head. We sat there for a while letting the water soak into our pores and enjoyed the peaceful music that I put on for the both of us to enjoy.

* 15 minutes later *

Lani was in the kitchen making dinner for us and I was in the bedroom looking for clothes. I found my black long sleeved shirt with thumb holes and my favorite pajama pants that I left here. I walked into the hall which I could spot the kitchen and Lani looked so cute. She had her hair up in a messy bun and she had her grey long sleeved shirt and her pajama shorts on. She seemed focused on the food that she was making because she didn't notice me wrapping my arms around her waist while she was cooking. She's making vegan pesto pasta. I've never had it before, but it smells good. I kissed her cheek then rested my chin on her shoulder. "You're so cute when you're focused." I said and smiled when I noticed her blushing. She finished making dinner a few minutes later and handed me a bowl. She made her bowl and I made mine then we sat at the table. "Thank you for making dinner." I said smiling at her. "You're welcome." She said smiling back. I took a bite and holy shit, my mouth felt like it was in Heaven. "This is really good." I said complementing on her food and cooking. "Thank you. This is one of my favorite things to make." Lani said smiling. Lani and I finished our dinner and I saw her try to hide her yawn and smiled. "Tired love?" I asked and she nodded. I took her bowl and mine then put them in the sink and filled them with water, then I walked up to her and took her to the bedroom with me. "Let's go to sleep." I said and she nodded her head yes agreeing with me. We got into the bed and cuddled . Her head was under my chin and I held her like my life depended on it then, we eventually fell asleep.
