A Mermaid Tail (Papyrus x mermaid reader)

The Accident

It was a normal school day, class after class after class until... the bell rang out signalling lunch "finally I've been waiting for lunch I'm starving!" I said to my best friend Sophie "I know right, my stomachs been rumbling since period 4!" She half shouted since it was so noisy in the corridors, we made our way to the dinner hall/cafeteria and looked for some seats, "y/n! Victoria's coming towards us!" Sophie whispered in my ear, I looked towards me and there she was, the she devil herself, she had platinum blond hair that was straightened within an inch of its life, long nails and a no doubt expensive outfit bought by her 'Daddy',"what are you looking at bitch?" Victoria spat "anything but you" I retorted "you little BITCH!" She screamed and slapped me "careful you don't break a nail 'princess perfect' " I mocked her, bad choice, she grabbed a cup full of water and threw it at me "come on y/n" Sophie yelled as she shot a dirty look at Victoria, Sophie knew about my secret but no one else did, I had about five seconds until I transformed but I couldn't move, my legs were already ceased up, then it began, in front of the entire school I changed into a Mermaid, I could feel all eyes on me and I wanted to disappear, Sophie grabbed paper towels and began to dry my tail so that it would turn into legs and then I could run away from the school and hopefully never be seen again, after a while I felt my tail split in two, it wasn't as painful as it sounds it was just tingly, as soon as I was able to stand I ran, even though I only had a skirt on which came after I changed into a mermaid, I kept running out of the school,out of the town, out of everyone's life... hopefully forever, I had been running for hours with no plan and I was getting exhausted, I felt as though I could faint at any moment, I began to walk to try and steady my spinning head "what the hell am I gonna d-" I cut myself short as I tripped and fell down and down, then I blacked out.

"Oooowch why does everything hurt?!" I asked myself then it all came back to me, "well how do I get outta here?" I asked myself again "howdy I'm flowe- EEP!" A flower popped up and started talking to me and out of panic I stood on it then bolted out of there, I was gasping for breath but I didn't stop running until I found a house, I knocked but no one answered so I just pushed the door open and stepped inside "hello?" But nobody came, I found a staircase going downstairs and decided to go down it cuz #YOLO (sorry 😂) there was a corridor in front of me and I ran down it eagerly, there was a HUGE door In front of me, I tried pushing it open...it didn't move , I ran at then door and it flew open upon impact causing me to tumble into the... Snow? I got up and brushed myself off "this place is so weird" I needed to stop talking to myself, huh was that laughter I could hear? Must be my imagination yup just my imagination, I tried to take a step then realised I was bare foot and snow melts into water! "FUCK!" I yelled in frustration as my tail appeared, wait now that I'm a mermaid I'm cold blooded so I'll.....freeze to death oh god luck isn't on my side today is it? All I could do was lie there pathetically and wish for a quick death or to be rescued, whichever came first.

Papyrus POV

I was on patrol for a human with my brother sans, we were walking together when sans noticed something under a pile of snow! We rushed over frantically digging at the pile of snow to rescue the monster in distress! We finally finished digging and looked at the...." SANS IS THAT A HUMAN?!" I asked "sure is buddy" he replied "we should probably get her back to our house she looks blue" he said (also you changed back to a human because you were near dead) I picked up the human and carried her home with us, "ok she's almost frozen to death we need to warm her up "THE GREAT PAPYRUS SHALL MAKE THE FIRE HOTTER NYEHEHE!" I accepted the task and tried my hardest to make the human warmer I used ,a heater, the fire and numerous blankets "NYEH!" I exclaimed proudly while examining my work "SANS I HAVE MADE MY BEST EFFORTS TO WARM THE HUMAN UP!" I yelled at the lazy bones, he was most likely in his room napping but I yelled anyway, I sat down and looked at the human, she had gorgeous f/c hair that framed her face perfectly and soft pink lips that parted slightly as she breathed, to sum it up she was gorgeous...wait no she's a human I have to capture her! Well after she's back to proper health of course.

I was making spaghetti in the kitchen for when the human wakes up, she has been out for hours and I'm growing more concerned as time goes on, I hope she's ok.

YOUR POV (that's right you're awake)

"Mmmmhhh" I moaned as I opened my eyes slowly , I felt so sore like my entire body was on fire, pain was shooting from my fingertips and toes upwards and through my whole body "uuuh....it......burns" with every word I felt immense pain through my jaw, I heard footsteps approaching wherever I was and moved my eyes to see "aaaaah-oooow" I screamed but stopped as pain once again shot through my jaw "please don't be afraid my name is papyrus and my brother and I found you in the snow while on our daily patrol, and brought you here to recover" he said somewhat timidly "thank.....you" I replied attempting to smile but getting immense pain in the process, then proceeding to faint from pain.

A/n.   Opinions?¿ I'm personally proud since I couldn't find stories like this anywhere and that's my goal   To be different and do something new (even though undertale came out years ago ahem ahem) anyway hope you enjoy this and let me know thx >3<
