Carson drives his car over to Belle's house. As he parks his car at the front of her house, he steps out of the driver's seat and rings Belle's doorbell (Get it? Belle's door'bell'? Never mind).

Meanwhile, Belle is her bedroom, busy browsing the Internet when the bell rings. She puts her laptop aside and runs down the stairs to answer the door.

"Yes?" she says as she opens the door. "Is the- wait!" She exclaims as she remembers her 'date' with Carson.

"Still in your comfy wear?" Carson asks with a confused look on his face. He looks at her current outfit: plain pink blouse and light gray leggings with stripes going down its sides. Her long, wavy, brownish-blonde hair is up in a messy bun as usual. Compared to her, he's wearing a black cardigan and white shirt, with long beige pants. His slick, black hair stands out at the front of his head.

"OMG I FORGOT!!!" Belle exclaims, gripping her head, "I'm so sorry Carson, gimme a moment." She dashes up the stairs while Carson stands at the door, trying to contain his laughter.

Belle removes the hair grips in her hair and straightens out her bun. She quickly pulls out the outfit she had set aside the other day. She pulls the outfit over her head and slips on her high heels. Then she slides the bangles on her wrists.

She skips down the stairs towards the front door. "How do I look?" She asks Carson.

"Whoa, chill," he says, drawing back and holding his hand up, "You sound like you're going out on your first date."

I wish, Belle thinks.

"But really though, do I look decent?" Belle asks him again.

"You look just like the bro I've known all these years," he says with a smile. Belle secretly blushes. And you're still the soft, caring man I've loved all these years, she thinks to herself.

Belle steps out of her house and closes her door. Then Carson leads her to his car and lets her into the front seat. After that, he gets into the driver's seat and takes off.

The drive to the waterfall takes about 30 minutes. So Belle decides to use this time to catch up with him.

"So," she starts, "How's Hailey been doing?"

"Oh, she's been fine," Carson says, smiling at the thought of his beautiful girlfriend. Belle's face drops a little.

"But I won't talk about her, since I promised that this hangout is just between you and me," Carson says, turning to look at Belle, "No Hailey involved."

Belle's face lights up with relief. "Oh, okay," she says, trying to hide the happiness in her voice, "So have you been up to anything lately?"

"Eh, not much," Carson replies, "All I can say is I've been working hard."

"I see."

"What about you?" He turns to look at her her again.

"Me? Umm, well..." Belle pauses, trying to think about what to say. What do I tell him, that I've been moping around, reading romance novels while wishing so hard that he was my boyfriend?

She turns to face him and clears her throat. "Well, I guess I've been a couch potato," she chuckles.

Carson chuckles as well. "Don't tell me you've been reading more of those pathetic stories," he says with a playful hint of disgust in his voice.

"Hey, you know how much I love reading those," Belle says, pouting.

"I still don't get your obsession with those romance novels," he admits.
