Jaemin is already exhausted by the time lunch rolls around, his head hurts from the use of new glasses and the suggestion of straining his eyes to see the boards in class, not to mention the bells seem to be about a thousand times louder today for some reason.
"Rough day?" Renjun, his life long best friend, asks as he sits down across from him.
Jaemin sighs, yawning a little. "The absolute worst. I literally stepped on my glasses this morning and my foot is still aching." He said, moving his foot out of habit.
Renjun scrunched up his face. "Tell me about it, I sat on mine last night, and they were my spare and I'm so fucking blind today it's not even funny. Chenle has literally been leading me around the school like a dog on a leash."
"Okay, so quick question. How much do you know about the new transfer student, Park Jisung?" Jaemin asks, sitting up as Renjun pulls his lunch from his bag.
"Not much. He's sixteen years old, moved up a grade or two because of good grades, has an older brother, and he was offered a position for the schools dance team." Renjun says, earning a 'not much, huh?' Look from Jaemin.
"I only know this because of Jeno, okay?" Renjun said before finally getting a bit of food, only to be bugged by the newly arrived Chenle.
"I swear to God if you two don't let me eat." Renjun grumbled, slinking away from the younger chinese male who had his arm slung over Renjun’s shoulder.
"Most people wake up on the wrong side of he bed, I think you woke up on the floor." Chenle says, reaching over to grab something off of his tray.
Renjun swallowed his last bite of food, turning back to Jaemin who was barely even half done with his lunch. "Why the interest in Jisung anyway?"
"Our brothers are kinda enemies? I was just curious is all." Jaemin says, looking down at his food as Chenle giggles.
"You should go watch him dance sometime, I think practices are after school, so you won't have to worry about being late to class." Chenle says, grinning as Renjun nods.
"And if you get caught, Jeno is always on the team and he's more than willing to cover your ass after last semesters english incident." Renjun says with a grin.
Jaemin sighs. "I love and hate you both at times."
They smile, pressing closer together. "We know, we love you too." They coo, scooting away from each other again.
"So when are two going to date?" Jaemin asks, watching as they both stop eating, looking up briefly before returning to their food.
"Old joke, dude." Chenle says, awkwardly chewing on a carrot stick.
"Yeah." Renjun mumbles, suddenly taking an interest in the label on his water bottle.
Jaemin smiles because he know how he plans on spending his semester: getting these two idiots together.

And, to the lovely and awesome 1-800_Johnny-Cal, I made a character in my JeongChan book named Hani because you've been very supportive of me, and my writing. She isn't a very big character at the moment, but she's like a supporting role, and it's just oof.
Love, Siha.☀☀☀
