Things were not going to plan, at all.

Jaemin had decided to go see how well Jisung could dance after school, with the hopes Jeno would be there, but just as he was about to enter the studio, he got a text from Renjun.

Injun:
Jeno had to go home,
He's got a stomach bug or something.
Just thought I'd let you know.

Jaemin had let out a slew of curse words he'd learned from a lifetime with his brother, trying his hardest to hobble back out before someone saw him.

"What're you doing here?"

Crap.

"I came to see my friend dance, but I just got a text he's out sick." Jaemin said, giving an awkward smile as Jisung nodded, his hair now hanging in front of his eyes instead of being shoved up in his cap.

'Damn, he looks good.' Jaemin mentally faceplamed at the thought alone, trying his hardest not to look at the other boy again.

"Well, you might as well stay since you're here. I'm sure Mr. Jung won't mind." Jisung said, holding the door open with his foot, gesturing for Jaemin to go in.

"Uh, sure?" He hadn't meant for it to sound like a question, but regardless, it had. Because he was Na Jamin, and shit never went the way he planned it to.

"Five, Six, Seven, Eight!" Mr. Jung was lithe and graceful as he tried to teach his students, but from the looks of it, he was also very strict. "Jeongin, if I have to tell you to keep your feet together one more time, I'm cutting you from the choreography for this year's showcase." Mr. Jung snapped at the boy with braces who just looked grumpy.

"I don't even want to be here, I wanted to join choir!" Jeongin shouted, looking at Mr. Jung with the most pitiful look Jaemin had ever seen.

Mr. Jung told the other students to keep working as he and Jeongin talked off to he side of the room, and Jaemin couldn't quite see what they were talking about (he could usually lip read well) but he did know that Jeongin had called the teacher by his name. Jung Hoseok.

Jaemin decided he shouldn't pry, and turned his attention to the students who were dancing.

Jisung and one other boy were leading the group, making sure everyone followed every step, making slight adjustments to certain moves if someone needed help with them.

Though, it was mostly the other boy who helped the students while Jisung repeated move after move, drilling it into them with no mercy.

"Pick up the pace, Lin." Jisung said with a huff, looking at the girl on his left side who couldn't get the timing right on the popping steps.

She was good though, smooth, and precise, but just a little off on the beat. "Can you turn the music up a bit?" She asks, pulling her hair back into a ponytail to reveal hearing aids.

Jisung sighs, walking over to the speakers to turn the music up as she removes the hearing aids much to Jaemin's surprise.

He doesn't understand how it'll help her any if she can't hear it, until he remembers sound vibrations. She can probably feel the vibrations flow through the floor.

Jisung counts off the new time, making sure that Lin can read his lips before everyone starts. Lin falling into synch with everyone immediately, her moves almost as sharp and precise as Jisung.

Soon Mr. Jung takes back over the class, thanking Jisung and the other boy (who's name had apparently been Hyunjin) for all their help.

It all ends quickly, and Jaemin is left in awe of each and every single dancer there. In fact, he's so in awe of them, he doesn't even notice that Jisung is sitting beside him, drinking his water bottle.

"You dance really well." Jaemin says, picking at his nails.

"Well, I wouldn't be here if I wasn't." Jisung comments bitterly.

"Yeah..."

And boy, does Jaemin feel awkward.
