"Kaylee! Get up! You're gonna be late for school." My mom yelled from the kitchen.

It was the middle of the school year, and honestly I didn't feel like going to school. Plus, my boyfriend had just broken up with me and I wasn't ready to face him.

"Kaylee get up!" My mom yelled once again.

So I finally decided to get up out of bed. I headed for the shower. considering that it was monday morning and I was in bed all weekend because Eric had just broken up with me Friday night, I decided to take a quick (not so quick) shower.

After 30 minutes of being in the shower, I got out and went to get on some clothes.

I put on my black skinny jeans, my green tank top, and my sweater. It was the middle of December so i was kinda cold outside. But the day had to go on. So I put on my make up, and socks and went to go check my phone.

There was a text from my best friend. But I ignored it. Knowing what it would probably say. The same thing it says every morning. We have been best friend for almost 3 years now, and we have each others back threw everything.  I met her when I moved here,and we quickly became friends. She wasthe first person I met at the school.

"Kaylee! Come on. I'm downstairs. Lets goo!"  I heard her yell from the living room. My mom must have let her in. Which usually doesn't happen, because she lets herself in most of the time.

I grabbed my book bag and ran down stairs and quickly put on my black vans, and walked out the door with her following me.

We walked to school everyday since I lived so close to the school.

After about 5 minutes of walking, we finally got to school, and we sat down on the benches in the field ,and waited for the school bell to ring.

As we were sitting there, two boy approached us, and introduced themselves. They must have been new because we never seen them before.

"Hey. I'm Matt and this is Nash"

I looked up and found Nash staring at me  with a smile on his face. He had brownish blobdeish hair that went up to one side, and really pretty blue eyes. He was cute I had to admit.

"H-Hi. I'm Kaylee." I started to smile and blush, so I quickly looked away. Not wanting to embarrass myself.

I noticed that Matt was staring at kayleigh, So I introduced her. "This is Kayleigh" . she was obviously to shy to introduce herself.

"Hey. We gotta go. Nice to meet y'all."  I got up pulling Kayleigh with me.

"I'll see you later, right?" Nash asked with a smile on his face.

"Yeah."  I smiled and walked away bringing Kayleigh with me.
