Alexis' POV
I walk into school as I usually do and I head to my locker. I grab my things for my first class and slam my locker shut.

I was walking down the hallway to the bathroom when I see a group of people crowding around something.

I walk over to the crowd and I push through people to get to the center.

I finally reach the center to see Ethan and Alyssa standing in the middle.

His lips on hers. I can feel my eyes begin to tear up and I push my way back to the hall. I jog out of the way and I head towards the janitors closet, it was the closet room that I could lock.

I almost reach it when I hear someone yell my name from behind me. I turn my head quickly and I see Ethan running after me. More tears start running down my cheeks and I run even faster than before.

I quickly get into the janitors closet and I lock it. I slid down on the floor and I place my head into my hands.

I take out my phone and I dial Grayson's number. I wait until he finally picks up.

Me: Grayson.
Gray: what's wrong Lex, you sound like you're crying.
Me: It's E-Ethan.

Ethan's POV
I walk into school and head to my locker. I look ahead to see Alyssa leaning against my locker.

I get closer and she realized that I had arrived. She comes up to me and gives me a hug. I push her off my and continue to go to my locker.

She grabs my wrist and I pull away.

"What do you want Alyssa?!"

"I want you to stay with me."

"Why the fuck would I do that?!"

"Because you are going to, I'm not letting you go!"

"You fucking cheated on me. Why the fuck would I do that?!"

"Ethan stop, you will be with me!"

"The fuck I am!"

I see people crowding around us but I don't give a fuck.

"I'm not getting back together with you! We're done!"

"You will not leave me!"

"Well I am!"

"Maybe this will change your mind."

She grabs the hem of my shirt and pulls me to her. She forces her lips onto me and try to add tongue. I push her off me and I hear someone pushing around.

I look to my left and I see someone leaving. I know that hair anywhere, Alexis.

I escape the crowd to see Alexis running away. I start with a jog that eventually turns to a sprint.

"Alexis!"

She looks back at me but then turns around quickly and goes even faster. I try to keep up but I can't, I lose track off her and I stop.

Did I just ruin maybe the best person in my life? I can't believe I just screwed up that bad. God, I can't do this without her, I need her.

After school

I slump into my house and close the door behind me.

I throw my backpack on the round and make my way to the couch.

I almost make it to the couch until I feel a sting on my cheek as I get thrown onto the floor.

"Ouch, what the fuck."

I look up to see Grayson standing over me with nothing but anger inside his eyes. He's never punched me that hard before.

"Why the fuck would you do that to her?!" he said as he came to punch me once more.

"You know she called after she ran away from you? You're suck a dick man."

"Grayson stop, I can explain!"

"You. Fucking. Ruined. Her." he said in between punches.

I get up and punch him a few times so he's down for a little.

"Alyssa kissed me, trying to change my mind about breaking up with her."

"You broke up with her?"

"Of course I did, I have feelings for Alexis!"

"I don't know if she feels the same anymore."

I frown and I walk away to the freezer. I grab and ice pack and an extra for Gray.

I walk over to him and throw the ice pack at him. I place the ice pack on my cheek and I fall onto the couch.

Should I text her, explain what happened? Would she believe me? God, why do bad things always happen to me.

Alexis' POV
I throw my backpack against the wall and jump onto my bed. I cry into my pillow and sob super loud.

I hear a knock on my door and I lift my eyes up to the door. I see it open and Sam enter.

"Alexis, what happened?"

"Nothing."

"Alexis." he says sternly.

"Ethan." I whisper.

"Who?"

"Ethan!"

He looks at me with his jaw clenched.

"What did he do, did he hurt you?"

"Yes, emotionally."

"I'm gonna beat his ass."

He was about to leave but I yell at him.

"You can't, he's a minor."

I hear him sigh angerly and he returns in my room.

"I don't want you near him, ok?"

I nod my head and he closes the door. I get up and turn so I'm laying on my back.

I look to my left to see no one next to me. I don't understand, yesterday we were cuddling together and now he kissed another girl. I knew I shouldn't have fallen for him.

I plop back onto my bed until I get a text. I grab my phone and I see it's s text from Grayson. I check his text.

I press on the message and I listen to see if he really did apologize. He did. Should I forgive him, I guess I'll do it tomorrow. I still need some space from him.
