Warning: Spoilers for the story. I'd suggest you'd read it before this.

Ok - This story may be confusing for some who don't really know Marble Hornets and I want to write this so anyone who may be confused can comment here to ask questions about my take on the MH universe and this story. Please only comment questions here. Please post any reviews, thoughts or opinions on other chapters. Thank you.

1) The story/lore. Any Questions I get about the general story/lore, I will answer here.

2) The Operator. Any questions and info to do with The Operator (including the sickness and what happens during the influence) I will put here. He is also a completely different entity to Slenderman.

2.1: Goal) Just before anyone asks, in this universe The Operator's goal is to have everyone infected with The Operator Sickness. This means he'll be able to influence people at will. Once he infects everyone in Rosswood, he plans to try and spread to other areas.

2.2: Spreading the illness) The way the illness spreads is though a source. A source is a person who's been living with The Operator stalking them their whole life, and is desperate for someone to believe that he's real. Once they find someone willing to follow them, they'll lead them to a common place they see The Operator. Once there, he will show himself, causing the source to suffer the sickness. Because the person they're showing has never encountered The Operator before, they will not be able to suffer the symptoms as they haven't gotten the immunity yet. However, once they first see The Operator, they will then be unknowingly carrying the illness. They will start to suffer with paranoia, causing them to become more desperate for someone to believe them so they can get confirmation that they're not insane. The loop continues like that.

2.3: Filmers) Though not mentioned in the story, Filmers are people who suffer the paranoia by filming themselves in hopes to catch The Operator on tape. The Filmers don't know that this is helping them keep him away. Because the sickness spreads by physically encountering The Operator, recording him is going to take away the effect. That is the distortion you see on the tapes. The influence is absorbed by the camera (Shown by visual and auditory distortions) and is therefore safe to watch by anyone. The Operator hates this. It means they have proof of his existence without needing to take anyone close to him, which means they can't pass on the sickness. Brian and Alex have already figured this out and is why they keep filming everything.

2.4: Influence) The Influence is the way The Operator controls people. As the final part of the sickness is passing out, this is a perfect opportunity for him to 'influence' you. He is able to change your personality and make you revert back to more animalistic tendencies. He can make it so you have no ability to recognise anyone aside from him or have any sense of right and wrong. This makes you his puppet, a person who he is able to be controled to his will. There are points when this can go wrong and you can retain recognition and/or morals. This is seen in Chapter 5. Tim and Brian are a lot more aggressive than normal, however they still recognise each other. However Brian does not retain the knowledge that hurting Tim is wrong, and just sees it as punishment for annoying him, thinking what he's doing is right. The Operator is also able to influence people with different strengths. He can go from them not remembering someone but knowing hurting them is wrong, to not knowing hurting them is wrong. Alex is nearly always under the influence of Operator and is why he is so aggressive. He trusts The Operator more than his friends, and so tries to kill Jay, Seth, and all other Filmers who could potentially mess with his final goal.

3) Characters. Any questions to do with Seth, Tim, Brian, Jay and any other character (Excluding Operator) will be answered here.

3.1) Masky and Hoodie) When being influenced, Tim and Brian's personality changes to make them become "Masky" and "Hoodie". These names are now confirmed to be canon by the creators (Troy Wagner and Joseph DeLage) and have been used to refer to them. Now, they may be part of Marble Hornets but are also recognised as 'Creepypastas' because they're seen being controlled by The Operator, so people assumed it was Slender and that they were his 'Proxies'. The term "Proxy" doesn't exist in Marble Hornets, and so this is false. However I have come up with a story about how Tim and Brian end up working for Slender. However, if you're looking for them loving cheesecake and all the Creepypasta cliches, you're in the wrong place. I am going to try to keep them as canon to Marble Hornets as possible throughout everything I write.

3.1.1) Brian / Hoodie) Brian is an easy going, friendly person who doesn't like to break rules. He usually tries to be optimistic but can sometimes let his emotions get the better of him. He is Tim's best friend and used to be friends with Alex, however their friendship was ruined by the events of Marble Hornets. When Brian is being influenced, he becomes a lot more aggressive and snarky, losing the optimistic tone he normally has. He thinks that he's the boss, that he's better than everyone. The reason he had fentanyl is because he would drug Alex (or sometimes even Seth when he gets too heavily influenced) and cause them to have a similar episode to what Tim had in the end of Chapter 12 and most of Chapter 13 by overdosing.

3.1.2) Tim / Masky) Tim is the character whose eyes you see the story through. He is a level headed, cautious person at most times, however can be very sarcastic and easily aggravated at others. He is also one of Brian's closest friends. When Tim is influenced, he gets more aggressive and a lot more sarcastic and snarky. He doesn't care what others think about him in this state and has different motives depending on how badly he is being influenced. If he kept his morals and recognition, something like what's seen in Entry 76 or 52 can happen, when he only keeps recognition, something such as Entry 45 can happen, when he loses both, something like Entry 18 can happen. There is no way that he can control the influence and can wake up from any state and not remember what had happened.

4) This Universe. So of course, this is an AU to the normal MH universe/Slenderverse. So any questions regarding the universe I've made or how I would explain differences to the normal universe I will put here.

4.1) Character survival) So, to put it bluntly: Brian survived the fall because it wasn't that high, however faked his death so Tim would snap and kill Alex. Jay survived being shot by being found and taken to hospital. Seth was never shown to die on screen, so the possibility of him being alive was always there. And Alex was saved by The Operator. The reason Operator saved him is because he was one of his sources (As seen in enttry 37) and had no knowledge of the pills, making him extremely easy to influence (As seen in entry 43).

4.1) Oakside) Ok, so along with loving most 'Slender Series' I also love Creepypasta. And I have made it so Oakside (the place where the Slender games are set) is close to Rosswood, actually around the next town over. This is because I'm going to write my version on how Masky and Hoodie became 'proxies' to Slender. It's going to be a bit like a sequel to this story as it takes place directly after the 'good ending'.

5) Other. Any questions that don't fit into the other categories will be answered here.
