The common area was fuller than ever before. Ivan was in a lone corner by himself, "Where are Rosa and Nash?" Chrissie asked sitting down across from him.
"I don't know," he looked sad.
"What's wrong?" she asked.
"Nothing," he looked up, "Great,"
Chrissie turned around to see Donavon and five of his friends at his side. He sat right by Chrissie, "Where's Nashly?" he asked looking around as if he would pop out and slit his throat.
"I haven't seen him. What do you need?" She moved away.
"Nothing I wanted to talk to you alone." He refocused on Chrissie. He turned to Ivan, "Ivy, don't you have class?"
"Ivan can stay. What do you want?" Chrissie said.
Donavon looked back at her, "Do you like Nashly?"
"Why do you think I would? He's an ass hole,"
"Well, it looks like you two are going together. I just wanted to be sure,"
She started to get up, "Well now that you know," he grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him, "Donavon let go of me," Chrissie said pushing him away. He grabbed her by the arms, harder this time, and pulled her back to him. He backed her into the table, not allowing her to move away. He kissed her.
Chrissie pushed him off but he didn't let go of her. Chrissie could see Nashly out of the corner of her eye. He had a cold stare on Donavon. Donavon was punched to the ground by Nashly. Chrissie grabbed Nashly arm and pulled him back, "He's not worth it," Nashly unclenched his fists and backed away.
A scream ripped through the room, "Donavony! Are you okay?" Vale raced over to where he was wiping the blood off his mouth. Vale ran up to Nashly, "How dare you. If you don't want your trap girlfriend making out with anyone else then keep her on a leash,"
"Trap?" Chrissie stepped closer to Vale.
"Yes trap, you have every boy here drooling for you," she wasn't backing down, "Why did you have to come to this school. All you did was make my Donavony distracted from our love," she looked over where Donavon was his friends were laughing. Chrissie turned and started to walk away. Vale stepped in front of her, "For a little thing, you sure are fast," Chrissie joked.
"You know you broke my nose,"
"Ok and your point is?"
"I just wanted to repay you," Vale slapped Chrissie across her face, using her nails to rip open the skin. Vale kicked Chrissie in the stomach and said, "That's for kissing my boyfriend," The kick left Chrissie gasping for air.
"Chick fight!" Donavon yelled a circle of people crowed in. Nashly was pushing and shoving to get in but Donavon's friends made a wall around Chrissie and Vale.
Vale tried punching Chrissie in the face but failed as Chrissie caught Vale's fist. Chrissie twisted Vale's arm behind her and pushed her to the ground, "Leave me alone," Chrissie moved to the crowd. She hissed a little and bared her fangs unknowing. The people backed away from her as if she was an animal. Nashly even looked a bit surprised as she approached him, "What's with the evil eye?" he asked. She didn't answer. Chrissie touched her fangs with her finger. They felt sharper than normal and longer.
"You got some teeth there," Nashly said seeing that she wasn't in the mood, "John's here," He look sad.
"Why is he here," She said carefully so she didn't poke her tongue with her fangs.
"I don't know but he told me to come get you so we can talk. Rosa is with him and he wants to see Ivan. Rosa told John that Ivan knows everything,"
