Nevaeh's POV
———————————
Shocked?
Embarrassed?
Confused?
Nervous?
I was too busy trying to figure out my emotions when someone shouts my name and takes me out of my daze. I look up to see Marcus running towards me with a worried look on his face. "Evie what happened? Why weren't you at school? Why were you talking to that guy," he asked when he got to the table I was sitting at. I didn't have time to answer before my brothers came running back to the table. "What did he say," Noah asked looking at me worried. I look over to Nathan and see that he has a worried look too, that's when everything really started to soak in. "Okay this situation just got really weird really fast," I point out looking between the three of them when Marcus says, "I know this is a bad time to say this but if he wasn't a crazy murderer or a gang leader I'd let him top." I just roll my eyes and look in the direction that Mitchell walked in only to see nothing but rows of trees and houses. "Nevaeh what were you two talking about," Noah asked after he hit Marcus in the head and when I told them they all had the the same expression I had. Confused. "What the hell does he mean by you're his girl. You're not just some object to be claimed, you're a human being just like the rest of us," Marcus says with a look of rage and all I could do was run my hand over his arm to try and calm him down but when I see that isn't working I hug him and tell him I'll be alright. "What about mom and dad Evie," Nathan asks looking up from his lap but all I can do is look at him and shrug my shoulders. Seeing this type of stuff in the movies is way different from living it. I look at Marcus for help but all he can do is hold me.
~timeskip~When we got back to the house Nathan and Noah went to the kitchen while Marcus and I went up to my room and sat on my bed in silence. "Babe talk to me what's on your mind," Marcus asks but I just shrug my shoulders and look at my shoes. "Marcus how do I sort this out, huh? Tell me. Please I need help," I say looking at him with tears in my eyes. "I don't know."
