Nevaeh's POV
--------------------
To say Mitchell was mad would be an understatement but whatever to get him mad enough to send me home right?
"So Nevaeh, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? You look young enough to still be in school," Apollo asks pouring himself a glass of what looks like whiskey, gross.
"I'm 17 sir and I'm a senior in high school. By the way Mitchell I have to be at school Monday before 7am and I get out at 2:30pm so, don't make me late cause I have perfect attendance and I wanna graduate on time, and don't be late picking me up cause I already don't wanna be there during regular hours," I say answering Apollo's question and looking at Mitchell reminding him that I am in fact still a student in school. I look back at Adonis and Apollo to see a surprised look on their faces as if no one has ever been bold enough to demand Mitchell.
"You're not going to school anymore. You'll be staying here learning how to be a proper wife before our wedding," he said not looking up from whatever he was doing on his computer. Now to some people not going to school may seem like a wonderful thing but not me. My mom is big on education, being successful, and independence and I won't allow him to throw me off track just because he took me.
"I'm going to school," I say making it clear that I won't take no for an answer. He might think that just because he got me here means that he won but it doesn't because I'm not going without a fight.
"Father, uncle could you two give us a moment? I need to teach my fiancé a lesson in obedience," he says standing up from his chair but this only makes me step back and prepare for anything.
"No son, I think your uncle and I should stay incase things get out of hand and then you can tell us what happened to your face," Adonis says sitting in the chair to  the left of Apollo. I take off my sweater and tie my hair back while Mitchell takes off his jacket and rolls up his sleeves. I then sit down on the chair to the right of Apollo and just watch as he takes off his watch and rings.
"It's only the first day and you're already in trouble with me," Mitchell says walking towards me but I stay sitting unfazed by his murderous stare.
"Before we get to this lesson teaching business do you wanna tell them why your face is like that or do you want me to tell them? I'd rather you tell them about it but I really want them to see how it got like that so do something, I dare you cause you keep thinking I'm one of those weak little girls and I'm not," I say standing up from my seat looking Mitchell dead in the eyes.
