Nevaeh's POV
----------------------
After about twenty or so minutes I look out of the window to see no cars around us and blurred trees. I look down at the ring Mitchell placed on my finger and admire the pattern of the diamonds when I come up with an idea. I smirk and kick the back of Mitchell's seat one good time before I get comfortable and fall asleep against the window. When I wake up the lackey is pulling into a circular driveway in front of a really big house. I wait a little bit before the lackey comes and opens my door. I step out of the car and take in the view of the house. From what I can see there are at least two guards at every visible exit and a thick maze of woods surrounding the house so running right now wouldn't be in my best interest until later. Upon entering the house I'm smacked in the face with the scent of bleach, fabuloso, and other cleaning supplies (smells that I could certainly do without). Mitchell grabs my wrist and drags me upstairs to an office and tells me to sit on one of the chairs in front of the desk but I stay standing just to irk him.
"I should teach you a lesson for that stunt you pulled in the car earlier," he said sitting down in the chair behind the desk trying to intimidate me again but just like that time in the park it didn't work.
"And I should castrate you for pulling a gun on my family but I didn't so I'd say we're about even. Who do you think you are anyways," I say back challenging his authority when there is a knock on the door. He tells the person to enter and in walks a girl with too much make up and not enough clothes on. I mentally cringe at the sight before me because I know if I tried to walk out of my house like that my mom would beat the hell out of me. The girl looks at me and Mitchell before she opens her mouth and asks,
"Baby what's that and why is it in your office,"
"I'm the right one, what street corner are you supposed to be on," I sass back raising an eyebrow.
"Tiffany I told you not to come here anymore," Mitchell said standing up when the door opened again, but this time two older men walk in and nod at Mitchell before turning their heads to me.
"Well nephew are you going to introduce us," one of the men says walking foward.
"Uncle Apollo, dad this is my fiancé Neveah," he says sitting back while I sit down in the chair in front of his desk shaking my head.
"Your mother will be happy to hear this news son. Please dear call me Adonis," he says extending his hand for me to shake. I shake his hand saying that it was nice to meet him.
"Well she's just as beautiful as she is well mannered, I'm proud of you," his uncle says not noticing the smirk on my face.
"She's just called me a prostitute, she's far from well mannered," Tiffany says with a cold tone trying to belittle me.
"Because you are Tiffany now leave and don't let me catch you bothering this young lady again or I'll kill you where you stand," his father says making Tiffany leave the office slamming the door behind her.
"Mitchell how come you didn't tell me your uncle and your father were so sweet," I ask with a sickly sweet smile.
