... I wake up to the sound of yelling, "Happy Birthday!!!!" I sit up quickly and realize that it is Shawn. "Happy Birthday to my baby sister Macy Marie!!" he yells with a wide smile, "Happy fifteenth birthday Macy!" I scream back, "Thank you!!" In Shawn's hand was a chocolate cupcake decorated with white frosting and a few candles. He hands it to me, "Make a wish." I blow out the candle with the wish playing over and over in my head. "What did you wish for?" he asks. "I can't tell you, it will ruin it," I say looking up at him. Jack looks up at Shawn with a glare before looking over at me with a fuzzy smile. I take the candle out and devour the cupcake in a few bites.
... "Must be the new appetite," he says raising his eyebrows. "Must be," I say with a sarcastic voice. "Do you sense your mate?" he asks with a smile. "Not yet," I reply, "I wonder what my wolf will be like." "Like you just more sarcastic and demanding." "Who said that?" I ask out loud. "Said what?" Shawn asks with concern. "Your wolf, duh." 'I thought you wouldn't come until after I shifted?' "We are different than the others, but I don't know how yet." 'So we are special?' "No... we're normal." 'You don't have to be sarcastic.' "I warned you."
... Shawn waves his hand in front of my face, "Earth to Macy, you there?" "Yea, I was just talking to my wolf," I reply smacking his hands away. "How? Did you already shift?" he asks with his eyes widening. "No, she says that we are special," I reply. "So, what's her name?" he asks with a small smile. 'What's your name?' "I'll let you know when you shift and I already know when we will." 'When will we?' "You'll see" "She wouldn't tell me, she said I have to wait till I shift," I reply with my eyebrows furrowed. "That sucks," he replies. "I know," I say throwing the cupcake wrapper away.
... My alarm goes off and I hit the button. "Alright, get out so I can get ready for this great day," I say pushing him out of the room. He leaves the room and I walk into the closet to ruffle through my clothes. I find a blue and white striped crop-top, a red skirt, and a pair of my little brown booties. I get dressed and brush my hair out letting it hang down my back. I head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put on some natural shaded makeup.

... I grab my book bag and phone before heading downstairs to eat breakfast. I make a bowl of cereal before eating it trying not to mess up my lipstick. I put my bowl into the sink and when I turn around to walk grab my things and leave, I bump into Jack. "Hey, Jack," I say petting him a little before grabbing my things and walking into the garage.
... Shawn was already waiting for me in the car, I hop in and his eyes widen when he sees what I am wearing. "What?" I ask looking over at him. "You better not lift your arms up today," he says gesturing to my crop-top. "Oh, hush, like the pack sluts don't wear worse things than this," I reply with an eye roll. "There is a reason they're the pack sluts and I don't want that to happen to you," he says throwing his leather jacket at me, "At least wear this over it." I roll my eyes again and slide on the leather jacket.
... We pull up to the school and he hands me a set of keys. "What is this?" I ask furrowing my eyebrows. "The present I got you," he says with a smile, "Just press that button after school and you will find it in the parking lot." "It better not be something stupid," I say placing the keys in the leather jacket's pocket. "Oh, trust me you will like it," he says before pulling off.
