Kyle: I woke up to another boring winter day in Utah. I still lived in my parents house. I wanted to move out and be on my own and independent. But I couldn't. I don't have many friends. And the few I had, wouldn't commit to that big of a decision at only age 17. I did my daily boring routine. I took a shower, got dressed, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth and I got on tinder to find myself a man. I was going through the guys. Then I somehow came across a cute kid. He was my age, lived in Utah and he was pretty cute! Kaden Gilbert. I didn't want another man to take him away from me so I quickly messaged him. It took me literally 30 minuets to come up with something to say. And all I came up with was hey. I waited for 2 freaking hours until he finally answered.

Kaden: "Hey cutie!"

Kyle: I was a little underwhelmed with his response so I messaged back, "You're the adorable one." I hesitated to send it but I did anyway.

Kaden: "That's sweet, but I look ratchet."

Kyle: "Don't say that, you are literally beautiful."

Kaden: "Really? I know this sounds a little forward, but would you like to meet up soon?"

Kyle: As I read his message, my heart was racing, and my hands were shaking. I texted back. "Yeah. Where were you thinking?"

Kaden: "I don't know but we NEED to get Mac and cheese while we get to know eachother."

Kyle: "Ok? That's kind of random."

Kaden: "Yeah, I'm kinda obsessed."

Kyle: We talked some more and we told eachother about ourselves. We decided to meet up today for lunch. Which was in an hour. A boy can't get ready that fast hunny. But I decided to leave early because I really wanted to be with this boy.

Kaden: I walked into the restaurant and I found Kyle sitting at a booth. He looked even more adorable in person.

Kyle: Kaden sat across from me. I just really hope I made the right decision to start dating again. I just didn't want to relive my past.

Kaden: The date was awkward at first, but by the end we were both laughing and having a good time.

Kyle: We finished our lunch. I was sad the date ended so early. So I am planning to take Kaden to go ice skating with me. Even though I have never skated before. I don't even know if Kaden has ever either. "I'm gonna take you somewhere."

Kaden: "What? Where?"

Kyle: "It's a surprise." I put money on the table and I took his hand and lead him out the door and told him to close his eyes.

Kaden: A lot was going through my head. I didn't know where he was taking me. At the back of my mind I was just really hoping he wasn't kidnaping me.

Kyle: I whispered into his ear, "Open your eyes."

Kaden: As Kyle whispered in my ear, shivers went down my spine. I opened my eyes and I saw a beautiful ice rink. It looked so magical.

Kyle: "Put these on." I handed Kaden some skates. He had a huge smile on his face while he was putting them on. I was just really hoping I don't fall on my butt infront of him.

Kaden: Kyle and I put our skates on. We tried to get on the ice. We were holding each others arms so we wouldn't fall. But we finally set foot on the ice. I'm not the queen of ice skating, but I held onto Kyle the whole time.

Kyle: "Are you having fun?"

Kaden: "Yeah!"

Kyle: We tried to make it around the rink, but at one point I fell on my butt and Kaden laughed at me. But I don't care. He has a cute laugh.

Kaden: As I helped Kyle up, I slipped and almost fell. But Kyle caught me. I don't know why but it felt like I was in a movie. As he caught me, he had a smile on his face and we were looking into each others eyes. Soon enough, our lips were touching.
