Sal's pov

I held tightly onto my cat Gizmo while my dad drove us to our new home. I glanced out the window and looked at my faint reflection staring back at me, I hated it. The dead eyes of myself pouring back at me. And then, the face, the Awful, Fake, Ruined prosthetic i wear.
I slowly reach my right hand up and touch over the prosthetic mask. It was two different colours. Before we moved a kid broke it in hope to see my face.
I sigh at the memory. I hate people sometimes.

"Sal" I look at my dad, he was worn out, his Cyan hair was greasy and messy. I shudder at how disgusting it looked.
"Yeah dad?"
"I know ya didn't really want to move but, ya know I'm only doing this to help ya right?"
I slowly nod as I looked down at the chubby cat purring on my lap. Big green eyes looked back at me, I smiled under my prosthetic before being nudged with a bottle, I looked at my father to see he was giving me my antidepressants, I wiggle my hand out from under the big orange fluff ball as it meowed in protest before grabbing the white pill bottle.
I laid the container down between my stomach and the ball of fluff I called my cat. "So, dad how many more hours till we get there?"
"Just a couple more Sal" I saw him smile a bit, I smiled myself when he did...I haven't seen him smile in years...
I went to say something before we hit a bump in the road and Gizmo jumped up and clung to my Prosthetic. I couldn't see past all the orange fluff, but I guess it was okay.

After a while when Gizmo calmed down and laid down in the floor board I took off my prosthetic and laid it in the glove department. I then reached my Index and thumb into my right eye socket and pulled out the glass orb. I dropped it into a cup of water and laid my seat back before closing my eyes
