Chapter 10.
"Lucy clock out, shifts over" my boss yells from the other room.
I punch my card and head out the door. I pull off the white waitress apron and he to my truck. I fumble through my purse and try and find my keys.
"I have em" a hand rest on my shoulder.
"Brantley god you scared me to death" I yelled.
"You know I'm playing darlin" he said hugging me "guess what" he added.
"What?" I asked.
"I got a gig tonight" he smiled.
"Yay! Honey!" I exclaimed.
Brantley opens the truck door and I slid in.
He speed down the rode off towards our apartment
