Jake's pov
I don't know what came over me but I had this feeling that I just had to kiss Erika and I did. She didn't kiss back but I was expecting that, so I pulled away.
Jake: I'm sorry, I'm just gonna go
I started to talk away and I knew she was watching me walk away. She wasn't lying when she said she doesn't need me.
Erika's pov
When Jake started to walk away I felt a little bad but I knew if I kissed him back things would get heated and I would end up regretting it. I tried not to think about what happened but I couldn't so I had to call Mackenzie and tell her
Erika: Jake kissed me
Mackenzie: WHAT, What did you do
Erika: Nothing
Mackenzie: You didn't kiss him back
Erika: No
Mackenzie: You did the right thing
Erika: But he looked so sad when he was walking away
Mackenzie: Erika you can't keep feeling bad for him, he left you and his daughter behind
Erika: But...
Mackenzie: No buts Erika he hurt you and he's probably do it again
Erika: You don't know that
Mackenzie: Your right I don't but I'm looking out for you, I don't want my best friend to be hurt by the same person that left you because you was carrying his baby
Erika: That's why I love you
Mackenzie: I love you too Rik
We talked for a little bit more until Nevaeh woke up from her nap. So I went into her room, picked her up and wen into the kitchen to get her something to eat.
