GRAYSON'S P.O.V

As I walked in, I made my way straight to the bar where the bartender stood and ordered a beer.

I felt a hand on my back making it's way to my waist as I turned alittle to see Gabby smiling up to me.

"Hey handsome, glad you made it" she purred

I removed her hands from my body causing her to frowned

"Where is everyone?" I asked her blankly

"They're around" She said scooting closely putting her hand on my chest

I took a sip from my beer and stepped around her looking for my other coworkers

I finally noticed them at the corner table at the other end of the bar and made my way over, leaving Gabby without saying another word. I know it was rude of me, but that girl couldn't take a hint

"Hey Ron, so I hear this is a farewell party huh?" I laughed as I pulled him into a man hug

"You heard right Man" he said " I got a promotion and getting transfer a few states over"

"We will all miss you here, but good for you. You work your ass off. If anyone deserves it, you do" Which was true, he busted his ass. Never called in sick and always worked over. I know I've only know him for a few months, but I can tell he has been like that for awhile. Glad the boss seen it

I've been here a little over two hours talking to my coworkers, listening to them tell their stories about Ron. Gabby tried to talk to me three more times, but I ignored her. I have no interest for a booty call. Especially now that I've seen Savannah again. Even if I didn't I would never get involved with someone I worked with. That's a recipe for disaster

"I'm gonna head out, I got a busy day tomorrow. I wish you the best, Ron. Call me if you need help packing or moving" I said extending my hand to Ron

"Glad you could make it, Grayson. I may just take you up on your offer. I have to finish packing, but I'm moving stuff to a U-Haul this Saturday. Ill call you if I need extra hands if you aren't busy" He shook my hand and then pulled me into an man hug

"Just text or call me with the place and time and I'll be there"

"Awesome" He nodded

I said bye to everyone and headed out towards my car. Time to get home and figure out what I'm gonna say to Savi tomorrow night

As I was driving to work the next morning I decided to stop at Dunkin Donut for coffee. I didn't get much sleep last night cause I was nervous about seeing Savannah again.  Liam and I talked for over a hour about what to say to her before he went to bed and wished me luck

I laid in bed most of the night lost in my thoughts. By the time I fell asleep my alarm went off and it was time to shower and get ready for work

Part of me wanted to call out and get some sleep so I don't look like shit at dinner tonight, but I haven't been there that long and I'm also not one of those people who call out for anything. I've always been committed to my job

I pulled into my assigned parking spot, yes our company had them, and exited my car with my coffee. When I made it to my desk I notice a file on it with my new assignment and got started on it

I was at the local diner that was down the street from my work when I received a text for Savi

"Can you come to the office around noon tomorrow to sign for the house?"

I sighed. wished she would of texted me just to talk like we used to, not that I didn't want to get that house signing out the way, I did, but I miss hearing from her. It got easier as years went on. during the first two years, I had to stop myself from writing her letters and sending them to her parents house hoping they would give her them and she would write back

I also don't understand why she didn't call. I mean isn't that what you are suppose to do with your clients not text them?

"Yeah I'm free. I'll let my boss know that I'm taking an extended lunch. How long do you think it would take?" I pressed send and while waiting for her reply I ate some more food that was on my plate

"A couple of hours at most. If you both agree with everything, you should be out within an hour. Just make sure to have your down payment and closing cost payment with you in form of check, cashier check, or cash"

"Alright. How are you?" I asked her not wanting to end our texting

"I'm fine. See you tonight, Grayson" She sent and that was the end of that

When I got back to work I went start to my bosses office and knocked

"Come in" I heard him yell

"Hello, sir" I greeted walking to his desk

"Grayson, what do I owe this pleasure?"

"I was wondering if I can take an extended lunch tomorrow? I know I'm still somewhat new, but  I recently put an offer down on a house near here and the owner accepted and would like to sign the papers tomorrow at noon. I will of course come straight back here and make up all the time I missed before going home"

"I see" he moved some papers around on his desk before he read one "I see you are always on time and always stays until close so I don't see why it would be a problem"

"Thank you sir"

"Actually why don't you just take the whole afternoon off since its on a Friday. That way you can get a head start moving in"

"I appreciate that"

"No problem, Grayson. You are a hard worker, You deserve it. congratulations on your new home. Don't forget to give your address to H&R Monday morning"

"Yes, Sir"

After the conversion with my boss, I finished more work, then made my way home to shower and get ready to meet Savi
