GRAYSON'S P.O.V

I just walked into Liam's apartment after putting down an offer on the beach house and I don't even get the door closed before Liam's asking me if I liked it

"Hello Liam I'm good, thanks for asking" I said sarcastically "And yes I put in an offer I should be out of your place soon, since you want me gone" I rolled my eyes and took a seat on the couch, thinking back to just a few hours ago

"Nah man, you know you are always welcome here" He said siting on the other end of the couch

"Grayson...."

"Huh?" I asked snapping out of my thoughts

"I asked when will you know if they accepted your offer or not?"

"Oh, sorry. I should know within 48hrs"

"What the hell got you all space out?"

I took a deep breath and faced my bestfriend "You never guess who the realtor was?"

He looked deep in thought then said "Was it someone we went to school with?" Then it was as if a lightbulb went off " Was it Brittney? We all knew that girl was obsessed with you. She didn't care if you were single or not" He chuckled causing me to cringe. That girl was a nightmare

"No, but we did go to school with her and was extremely close to us, me especially" I gave him a pointed look

It took him a second before it hit him and once it did he shot off the couch so fast it made my head spin

"No way. What happen to UCLA? Becoming a vet? Did she look the same? Is she married or seeing someone? Did you guys talk? Confess you still love each other? C'mon man don't leave me hanging"

"Well if you would shut up I could tell you"

"Well????" He sat back down looking at me

"I don't know what happened with school or her career. She didn't have a ring on her finger so I don't think she is married or engaged. She wouldn't talk about anything personal. Once she got over the shock of seeing me she went right into realtor mode and stayed there. She does look the same just older more mature"

"So you guys didn't speak about the past six years?"

"That's what I just said" I groan putting my head in my hands

"What am I going to do? Now that I know where she works and have seen and spoke to her, I don't think I can go on anymore without her around. These past six years were difficult enough, but at least I was overseas. I don't have that now keeping me away. We are in the same state; same city. I feel like fate put us together again and it feels like I'm losing her all over again cause we didn't even talk about us. What if she is over me? What if I cant fix this and win her back? Would she even let me try?" I said frustrated, Pacing around the Livingroom now

"Ok first pull yourself together. Second we will come up with a plan to get her to come around. That girl was head over heels for you back then. Something that strong doesn't fully go away no matter how long its been. First loves are hard to erase"

"I hope your right"

"Of course I am. I wouldn't be Liam Hayes if I wasn't" He said cocky

"Smartass" I mumbled

"Hey Grayson" Gabby A co-worker of mine said cheerfully showing of her cleavage

Desperate much 

"Hello, Gabby" I said casually

"After work a bunch of us is going to the bar down the street to as a farewell to Ron since today is his last day. Would you like to Join?" She smiled sweetly bending over slightly on my desk

"Sure" I replied

I like Ron sure I only known him for a couple of months but he seemed like a decent guy

"Great. I'll see you there" She winked and walked away shaking her hips

Instead of looking sexy it looks more like she needs to take a shit

I shake my head and get back to work When my phone vibrated in my pocket

"Hey Grayson, it's Savannah. Just want to let you know your offer on the house was accepted. Let me know what day and time is good for you this week to close the deal. Congratulations"

Well that's great one step closer, but I need to get her on board so I will eventually have the person I always wanted to share the house with

I added her number to my contacts and replied. It was time to initiate step two in winning Savi over again

After My conversion with Savi and making plans to meet up tomorrow I texted Liam

"Hey, Bro I got the house and as a bonus I got Savi to agree to meet up and talk. Get this She actually pick the park where we had our first date and she wants to get together tomorrow night" I sent it actually feeling excited for tomorrow

Its been a while since I actually felt like this. Savi always could make the darkness go away

"I'm happy for you bro. When you get home we can go over the plan to win back her heart"

"About that, I'll be home later than normal. I'm going to the bar down the street for a farewell party for a coworker. I wont stay out to late. I want to prepare what I'm gonna say to Savannah"

"Alright, see you tonight"

I shut of my phone and put it away. The rest of my day just seem to drag on until it was finally time to head to the bar
