Getting out of that room, I knew Tessa would attack me with questions and "I told you so"s. And that's what she did, right as I stepped out of the door.

"Holy fucking shit you fucking band member girlfriend lucky shit fucking–"

"Jesus Christ," I say, needing to stop her from her cursing rampage. "Is who you need. You need Jesus Christ. Go to church."

"Fuck you," she yells happily, getting a few stares from the security guards and stage setters walking by. "I'm perfectly fine with choosing concerts over church. Actually, you know what? Concerts are my church. The band is my God, the fandom is my religion."

"Girl," I say in a basic white girl voice. "You sooo need to put those words on a picture of One Direction and then put it on WeHeartIt."

"I just cringed, how dare you," she says, and then snaps out of the random conversation we're having. "You bitch! You're good at changing the subject. Let's talk about how you and Vic were about to fucking make the fuck out and you walked away."

"Where do you want to go to eat?" I ask, acting as if I didn't hea a word she said. "You know, I think there's a Panera around here–"

"Sure, we'll go to Panera," She grabs my arm and we stop walking. "But I'm serious. You know Vic likes you and you know you like Vic. Are you going to go for it? You gonna get the D?"

"No, you slut," I joke around. "I mean, I don't know if I could ever date him. The idea seems to unreal. Like, imagine going on dates with him. I just can't... I'd be too nervous and scared and uncomfortable–"

"You seemed pretty chill when you were talking to him before."

        "Damn, you're right."

"And you'll probably feel more comfortable around him once he reads your letter and knows more about you."

"Oh shit," I say, too out of energy to freak out. "That letter... It's everything. It says how I want him to remember me like I'm not just another fan, and I have my phone number and address on it. I sound like some thirsty bitch. He's going to realize he can't go out with me because of how much I idolize him."

"Dude, wouldn't you want a guy who idolizes you?" she asks, and we begin walking again. "I'm sure he'll love the letter and you."

We walk in silence to Panera, deciding to save all the conversations we needed to have for when we were sitting down. I could tell there was something she needed to talk to me about, and I was dying to hear it. We sit in a booth and she finally blurts out, "I think you have to choose between two band members."

At first I blink at her, confused. "What do you mean?"

She grunts angrily, and I blink again, more confused. She says, "I thought you'd at least have a clue. Mike was looking at you for the whole time since you walked in with eyes of such admiration and love, and I saw it all drain when he looked away as you were about to kiss Vic. I mean, it made sense. The badass hot boy goes for the girl known as the sassy bitch who put up a fight."

"Okay, no, I wasn't known as the sassy bitch who put up a fight, but close," I say in a tone that shows how ridiculous I think this is. "And you're just thinking these insane thoughts because of the small thing that happened with Vic. It's leading you to add more drama to the situation and–"

"Okay, first of all, fuck you," she cuts me off, clearly offended. "And second of all, there is no drama, nor is there a situation. You're just trying to make it seem like one because you think you're just so ugly and uninteresting that no one could ever love you. Well, bitch, news flash: you're not ugly nor uninteresting. And last of all, you know that the 'small thing that happened with vic' was not a fucking small thing. You know you two almost kissed, stop acting like it wasn't what it was. I heard what Kellin told you, so why don't you stop denying that something happened?"
