The concert was only beginning in a couple of hours, but yet it seems like it should have already begun. I've been sitting on the couch talking with Tony about myself, just random things like where I work and what I want to do with my life. In the middle of our conversation with quick subject changing, Kellin comes up to us with a horrified look on his face. Someone must have updated him on the latest gossip. Tony laughs as Kellin stands in front of me quietly, but with a loud expression on his face. Finally, after I waited soundlessly for him to say or do something, he says through clenched teeth, "I fucking told you."
Tony looked at me, nodded, and walked away so I could talk to Kellin alone and here the lecture he has preapred. "Told me what?"
"I told you that Vic gets hurt very easily, but nothing about that pain is easy," he says angrily, sitting down next to me. "And you're basically thinking of cheating on him?"
"No, Kellin, you've got it all wrong," I claim, even though he's not that off. "It's not cheating if we're not official. If we're not boyfriend and girlfriend, we're allowed to see other people. Isn't that how it always is?"
"No, because first of all," he begins and I slump down into the couch, wishing I could bury myself in it and hide from my problems. "This is Vic we're talking about. Second of all, the guy has to agree with being okay with it, doesn't he? And he won't. And last of all, Mike is Vic's brother."
"I'm trying not to be some kind of bitch, do you think I am? I'm like 12, I don't know how to do shit."
"You're 25," Kellin says. "You can't use that excuse."
"But I'm serious, I just don't know how to do things," I say, trying to sound serious as I say something that sounds completely ridiculous. "I never have. I don't know how I made it through middle school or high school or college, I'm a fucking idiot. I never know what I'm doing or what's going on, I'm–"
"Calm down, it's okay," he says, nicer this time. He puts his hand on my shoulder to comfort me. I feel like I'm having a panic attack or something. "I just don't want Vic to get hurt. But you're right, you have the right to see whoever you want to see. Don't stress about it. Let's try to forget about it for the rest of the night."
If only that was possible, I thought.
"So, now tell me about yourself," he says, on a much better note. "Seems like everyone around here knows you but me and my band. God, do you like the Pierce The Veils more than the Sleeping With Sirens...s? How dare you! Why am I even talking to you right now?"
I laugh and tell him how Jaime and became good friends with him; talking in the bathroom after he walked in my makeout session with Vic and got pinned up against a wall because of me. That amused Kellin, I could tell by his surprised and bright reactions. I told him how I met Tony, which was basically how I met Kellin; he had heard the latest gossip about me and had came over to lecture and yell at me, but we ended up having a nice and random conversation. And that's what happened with me and Kellin.
We talked the time away, and we noticed when we heard someone yell, "Everyone get dressed and ready, we have one hour."
