I've never had this much energy to go to school before,but that letter started something and it's practically killing my mind,today I actually woke up before my alarm went off. Insane,right?
I called Lisa immediately after I read that note, she was petrified she told me she didn't wanna get involved with this but eventually she jumped into the plan when I told her it was gonna be like one of those crime investigating movies. I'm already at the gates and I don't see her anywhere, time passed and I hear heavy footsteps stomping their way towards me. Lisa was drowning in sweat even tho her mom always drives her here...
"Did you-" I get cut off
"YES, I walked." She says irritated while popping open her water bottle and drinking it. "Why?" I asked. "Because...it's suppose to be top secret" she whispers in my ear looking around to see if anyone's watching us. God why did I ever drag her into this?
We continued on walking into the school that's almost Empty. a few students could be seen walking down the hallways but the rest were just teachers and janitors. We got to our classroom and sat down at our desk. "So,whats the plan?" Lisa asks me. My brain went dead,sudden urge to just jump out the window and call it a day. Clearly..all we had planned is the time we were gonna get here so that just makes us look like the noob investigators. "Uhhhh...."
"YOU DONT HAVE A PLAN?!" She said in complete shock. "Sorry all the tension got To my head I couldn't think of anything else" i said, I scratch the back of my neck hoping we come up with something fast. "What if we just do it simple, we walk into his office and say 'Hey. U know jisoo?" And if he says "yes" (deep voice) then BLAM! he's the murderer" she ends her words with a smile as she rests her chin on her hands. I'm sitting there completely dumbfounded at the fact that it's actually a good basic idea, I was planning on breaking into his office but that's a little too risky, right? - Class ended and all the students got up to go the library to study while me and Lisa go meet up with our top suspect. I gulped nervously as I couldn't tell if I was gonna throw up or die right now, we're at the door. Lisa knocked on the door then slowly opens it poking her head in. Soon on we walked inside shutting the door behind us, I slightly bow then sat down.
"Is there anything I can help you with? He asks, my hands are drenched in sweat. Lisa looked at me and I looked at her, I guess I had to ask him. "We wanted to ask you something." I said holding in the urge to throw up right here and right now. "Yes?" He said leaning into his desk. his eyes looking directly into mine "Did you know a student here named jisoo?" I asked. His expression changed completely going into a more serious yet angry look. " I cant remember." His response was so cold, the atmosphere in the room dropped. I could feel my heart beating in my ears. "She's mid height, black hair. Pale-" Lisa gets cut off by him. "I said,I cant remember." His tone got deep. At this point i couldn't even dare to ask him another question but something was just yelling at me to. "Maybe if we can get her full na-" he cuts me off by slamming his hand down on his desk. The whole room went quiet my heart was beating faster and louder, so loud I think even he can hear it.
" go with the rest of your class." He orders us turning his chair facing the tall bookshelf thats standing up against the wall . We got up and bow then walk out of there. We let out a long sigh. "That was terrifying" I stated while we walked towards the library. "But it's good." Lisa said. "How is it good?" I tilt my head in confusion. "Because it means he DOES know." She says and my heart stopped. "How do you even know that?" I squint. "He barley answered our question properly..then he got aggressive and told us to leave, which clearly shows.... he's hiding something" she smiles while rubbing her hands together like a villain.
