I'm nothing. Not to you, nor to anyone. I'm invisble, Peter. Let it be that way. ❞

❝ No, Arielle. You are everything. ❞

Arielle was a simple nobody.

She moved from school to school, city to city, anywhere and everywhere. She's used to it by now, it's her life. Her parents move, so she moves. They work, and she spends endless nights alone. Her sister died, and she fell apart.

Her parent's business moved all across the world. Their work was their world. She was her Mother and Father's world, once upon a time.

Arielle and her sister Mia were inseparable. It was them against the world, and that's how it always was, until that night. When everything wrong in the world became her fault.

From school to school, Arielle forgot to make friends. She moved so often that the concept of friendship seemed so distant from reality, she was made to think she could never grasp it. Mia was her best friend, she never needed anyone else. It was Mia that she needed, and she depended so greatly on her that Arielle forgot she was her own person, and she had her own life.

Eventually, Arielle began to claim herself as invisible. Not literally, of course. She didn't make any effort to interact with people at her new schools. They tried, hard.  Boys tried to claim her, to mark her as their own. But they couldn't grab her, as she wasn't really there. She was only there for the mere education she rarely got. Arielle knew she was crazy smart, it was a quality she received from her parents. Before her parents submerged themselves in their business, there home was in small town, where her parents worked and taught Arielle everything they knew about Science and Mathematics.

After Mia died, her parents grew more distant from Arielle and more towards their work. She knew they cared, and it was their way of pushing Mia's death away, slowly and quietly.

No one noticed the change, but there was a change. There family wasn't happy, it barely existed. She spent nights alone, and her parents never came home for dinner. Sometimes the loneliness ruined her, and she spent some of those nights crying herself to sleep. She had nothing, she existed as nothing.

But then, Peter noticed her.

And everything changed.

author's note.

This is terribly short, and I'm not very proud of this, especially as it's the first look into Arielle's life. This is my first serious book. I joined in March, 2015, I believe? I was 13 then and I barely had any writing experience. I tried, of course. It never worked out, haha. I have had Wattpad since then, never deleting it. I love reading on here, and I ADORE reading marvel Fanfiction. So, I have decided to write my own.

All rights to Spider-Man and the original plot goes to Marvel. I don't know if I'll add some dialogue from the Marvel movies, if I do, I do not own some of the dialogue. I also do not own Marvel characters or story lines.

I do own Arielle Stone and the original story line of her I created. It would be greatly appreciated if you did not steal or copy my OWN work. I try hard to create my characters from my imagination, and it sucks when it's copied, in ANY situation, it is not right.

I do not know where Arielle's story line will pop in with Peter's in the movies. Peter will most likely have little or no friends in this book, I haven't decided, it all depends if I stick to my own story line or Marvel's.  I may or may not decide to completely ignore the Marvel story lines and jump into my own, but I highly doubt it. I love the Marvel story lines. But honestly, if Civil War is going to get in the way of their story, I will decide if I will move past it or have a short or massive time jump. I WILL TRY, I promise.

Enjoy!
