Touched by Darkness

Chapter 4

As Theo and I walk down the hall way I can see Mandy waiting by Theo's locker. As she spots us her face falls and she looks across at me with a mean smile on her face.

'You do know what she is? Dont you lover boy' Mandy purrs at Theo who pulls me to his side protectively.

Does she know for sure your a witch?

The thought is pushed directly into my head. I give Theo a slight shake of my head. 

You should show her.

I raise one eyebrow at him and shrug. 

'Yes Mandy I know exactly what Tasie is' Theo replies 'She isnt a spiteful bitch like you'  

With that Theo takes my hand and pulls me towards my locker. I look over my shoulder at Mandy and can see she is spitting mad. As I turn back I feel Mandy grab my hair and yank my head back hard.

'Dont walk away from me you freak' she spits at me. 

I twist out of Mandys grip as she raises a fist to punch me. I swear this girl is crazy. Just as her fist makes contact with my face i feel the magic in me build and suddenly its like a light has been flipped on inside me. Mandy is laying at my feet in a daze. I look across at Theo, confused at what has happened. Theo smiles at me and puts his arm around me. 

Tasie she was asking for it. dont worry it looks like you pushed her. I didnt know you could do magic like that.

Neither did I Theo. I dont know what happened. But i need to go and speak to Grandma Star. Can you take me home?

Theo nods at me and leads me back out to my car. Taking my keys and driving me home. 

As we pull into the driveway Grandma is waiting for me. Theo sits as still as stone behind the wheel of my Jeep. Its like he has seen a ghost. I leap from the car and run to into her open arms and as she leads me inside i sware i can feel her shaking with laughter. 

'Grandma, what happened ?' 

'Well sweetheart' she begins ' your magic is getting stronger because you found your blood mate' 

She stops and we both look at the doorway where Theo is standing. He looks really uncomfortable but holds out his hand to Grandma. 

'Nice to meet you Mrs Star, Im Theo Dark ' he starts but grandma holds up her hand to stop him.

'I know who you are Theodore Darkness. You think i wouldn't know my own sisters grandson. My goodness you look like your grandfather' she says taking a good long look at Theo who has stepped closer to my side. 

Grandma looks at me and smiles. 

' I'll make sure your parents are away this weekend so you can go to this party ' she says looking at Theo but talking to me. 

'Thank you grandma' i hug her close.

Lets see what the weekend brings.
