"Arries wake up! Orientation starts in an hour!"

I woke up to Miya shaking me awake.

"What are you talking about?" I asked her lazily. Then I looked around and instantly remembered.

"Oh Crap." I leaped off the couch and ran to the closet.

I picked out a pair of my darkwash skinny jeans and a red tanktop along with my undergarments and ran into the bathroom.

After about a fifteen minute shower I finished up and looked in the mirror.

My blow dried brown hair was finally flat from straitening it and the makeup I wore made my brown eyes pop. The mascara made my eyelashes extra long and the black eyeliner and brown eyeshadow completed the look. I walked out of the bathroom happily fresh and almost ready.

"We have to be out in the lobby in less then twenty minutes." Miya said after i had slipped on my black vans. I sat next to her on the couch.

"Okay I'm almost ready." I replied. "But first I want to say sorry for freaking out and leaving. You just tend to treat me like your my mom and it irritates me."

"Its okay. I hope you got my letter." She said glancing back at the table. I nodded and she continued. "I'm sorry too. I don't mean to act like your mom. Now before we start crying lets go meet up with the boys shall we?" She smiled and we both got up. I grabbed my black hoodie and slipped it on as we walked over to the boys side.

"I will get Aiden and you can get Garrett and Michael." I said to Miya as we reached the other side. She nodded and we split off.

I arrived at room 9B and knocked.  "Aiden its me Arries." I said through the door hoping he heard me.

I started to feel disapointment after getting no answer from the other side. A minute had passed and finally the door swung open and there was Aiden wearing cargo shorts and a multi colored tank.

"Hey, you and your roommate make up?" He asked.

"Yea we did. You want to hang with us to orientation?" I asked as he let me inside. He closed the door and went to put on his shoes.

"Sure. Its still going to be boring."

"Well its better than being late and confused all next week right?" I said. I sat next to him on the couch.

"Thats what makes the first week fun right?"

I gave a small laugh.  "Totally," I said sarcastically, "now lets go so we aren't late." I got up and dragged him out the door. I immediately spotted Miya and the guys and dragged Aiden with me.

Everyone greeted us as we reached them but were silenced when a loud noise came from a megaphone by the stairway. A man in a purple dress shirt and black slacks came into view. His jet black hair bounced on his head as he hopped onto a stand so everyone could see him. He looked about in his mid twenties and by the way all the girls were reacting you could tell they were all drooling already.

"Welcome to Rose Academy." he started and flashed a bright smile toward the audience. "My name is Chris Yardnew, you can call me Mr. Yardnew. I am what you would call your principal in high school but i am also one of your main instructors."

Miya and I exchanged glances and Mr. Yardnew continued on with his speach.

"Today I will be showing you around Rose Academy but first I need to go through the boring rules and restrictions.  For now I will just explain the rules for your orientation tour and later you will be handed a packet of all of Rose Academy's rules and restrictions."

I inwardly groaned at the suggestion of a packet I had to read through.

"On your tour we will go through all areas that students have permission to go. All restricted areas will not be shown. Please do not disturb any of the wall decorations or any of the furniture.  Please keep your voice at a very low whisper so that others can hear as we go. Thank you and please pay close attention." He smiled and stepped off the stand. Immediately the group shifted forward following Mr. Yardnew down the stairway. The stairway was made of carpet so all the footsteps down the stairs were muffled. some guys even tried sliding down the metal rail on the side when they were about halfway down.

Garrett, Michael, Aiden, Miya and I all agreed to stay as far in the back as we could. Mr. Yardnew started our tour at the office and lead us throughout the entire first floor. there were 3 hallways that each lead to different classrooms including 5 foreign language classes, English,  Homeroom, and History.

We climbed up the stairway back to the lobby and we stopped at a glass balcony door. Mr. Yardnew spoke up. "This is the way to the graden. You are allowed to go here anytime during the day. Here at Rose Academy we believe that you should be able to have fresh air anytime you like. There is a Curfew mentioned in your packets that we prefer you to keep."

I looked at Aiden instantly remembering about the note he found. He looked back at me and we followed everyone out to the balcony and down the cement stairs. We were each handed a map of the entire campus including the maze of a garden. It even lables of the classrooms and the different areas they grew flowers and food in the garden.

"Arries," Aiden whispered at me "follow me." he grabbed my arm and we slowly escaped without being noticed. My friends had moved up ahead of us so Michael could hear Mr. Yardnew better.

Aiden and I quietly walked throught the garden until we came to a fountain.

"This is where I found the note." Aiden said pointing to a bench and then motioning around the grass. "Also I found this." he pulled me closer to the fountain and knelt down to point at an odd marking in the fountain.  It was a Z inside a triangle engraved into the base of the large fountain.

"Aiden, maybe this is just a company symbol or something."

"I don't know Arries,  it looks so strange." he reached to touch it but was interrupted by a voice behind us.

"Excuse me. Aren't you two supposed to be on a tour of the campus?"

Aiden and I both whipped our heads around to find a tall thin man with grey sleek hair and a questioning look on his face. He wore a button up shirt and jeans. His eyes were a cold grey with a bright blue around his pupils.

"Uhm yea uh." I said nervously. Aiden and I stood up against the fountain. Before I could say anything else Aiden spoke up.

"We got lost. Arries got so into the flowers and all and I didn't want her to be alone in case she did get lost. I'm sincerely sorry, Sir."

"Very well. I asume they are headed to the third floor by now, you can take the elevator just inside the lobby." the man pointed to the balcony. "And by the way I am Mr. Zotz. I will be your English teacher here at Rose Academy." He held out a hand and grinned as Aiden and I both shook his hand.

"Uhm thank you Sir." I said as Aiden and I started to make our way to the balcony.

"Not a problem!" He called after us.

Once we got in the elevator Aiden started talking so fast I almost couldn't understand him.

"Arries, What if he was the one who wrote the letter! What kind if English teacher invents a prototype of something?"

"Aiden slow down. I'm sure he just has a hobby is all."

"But Arries he was so creepy. Who knows how long he could've been standing there! Isn't creepy a red flag?"

The elevator doors opened and we both stepped out. "Aiden we will talk about this later." I said in a whisper. I spotted the group down at the hall looking in one of the classrooms.

"Fine," he said. "My room at 8. Bring your laptop."
