"But if you never try, you'll never know, just what you're worth" (Fix You)

This is a central Coldplay theme.  I believe that it is a message that they are trying to deliver to their audience.  It is repeated in many forms in many of their songs.  Here is my interpretation.

Sometime taking risks isn't a bad thing.  Sometimes you need to just go for it, whatever it is.  Sometimes when you take a leap of faith it becomes the best decision that you've ever made.  Other times it doesn't work out so well.  "But, if you never try, you'll never know..."  I will mention other songs that contain this theme throughout these discussion boards.

I have indeed noticed this theme in my own life.  Currently, I am taking a leap of faith in a certain relationship.  I rolled the dice and I'm still waiting for them to land.  I know that I'm not totally in control of my life, but that I am in control of the decisions I make.

"Geronimo!"  "Just do it."  Any thoughts relating to this quote? Any stories? Can you relate? In three days, I will start a new discussion board. Thanks for reading.
